This exceeded expectations. It's a textured, baby soft fleece material that my beagle dogs can't get enough of. The softness holds up in the washer too. I feel silly saying but I ordered this for my new kitten. I wanted her to have a soft comfy blanket to curl up in, but not a giant one that she would get lost in. It’s the perfect size. My cat LOVES this specific type of fabric. I have a large blanket of the same material, and she constantly kneads it, which would be cute if she didn't also chew it and slobber all over it. So I bought her this, hoping it would be a good substitute. I folded it and put it in her bed, and she instantly started chewing/kneading it and it made me so happy.It seems to be well-made, it's a good size, and the color is nice. This is a great blanket for newborns. I have one on the way and was looking for something that would be easy to carry around. I purchased the grey blanket and I absolutely love it! It is soft to touch and seems comfortable and breathable. I washed it recently and the material did not deteriorate after the wash. It also did not get discolored which I am pleased with. We have had blankets in the past for our oldest when he was a baby and there were some of which the material would get hard after multiple washing and drying. We will wait and see if this one remains resilient after months of useage. I love how it's not too big and is the perfect size. It easily fits in the diaper bag and with the material being soft folds easily as well. The blanket is thick enough for fall, spring and summer seasons. This may not be appropriate for use during the winter to keep your baby warm unless you intend to use it in conjunction with a baby comforter. It's a great baby blanket. It's super soft, very light, and folds slim so it doesn't take up much space when we want to bring it with.
