I was far too nervous to use nail cutters on my infants nails and these are prevented me from having to do so! Word of advice given to me from a nurse: it’s a common misconception that nails should be filed after a bath. Do not file after a bath! It causes the nail to split since they are too soft and this can hurt your baby. Trimming after a bath is fine but these files should be used while baby’s nails are dry. Also, filing in one direction also prevents splitting of the nail. I love how many come in one package. I leave one downstairs and one up so I can make sure they are accessible when baby is asleep. Filing his nails has never woken him up which is great! Read more

These files are great. However this review is based on the fact that I did not receive the authentic Friday Baby files. If you see the photo the ones I received as part of this order have strips on them which are very weak and don’t say Frida Baby. Do not buy these on here at the risk of getting fake files that do not work. Read more

I was disappointed in these as I didn't find them very effective at filing baby's nails down. The curve thing seems like a gimmick as it would round the middle of the nail, but then the edges wouldn't be filed down and were hard to get to given the shape of the file. The husband and I both tried many times, but we weren't impressed and kept getting scratched. As an aside, we tried the curved nail scissors and baby clippers, but finally had the most success (easiest, safest, and most effective) with one of the electric baby files (we found one for $15 on Amazon and it works great). They are pretty great but many drawbacks are making me seek other options.1)great to file delicate baby nails2)the s shape instead of helping actually makes it so you file more in the middle of the nail and less on the edges leaving pointy edges to grow out first3) they are pretty disposable, you can do a full see of nails with one and if you want to use them a second time you would need to find the remaining coarse bits to just aim there. All the grit falls out and I'll say you wont get more that 2 uses (10 nails twice) per nail file. That's the biggest bummer Read more

The concept is a great idea, however when I received them the files are peeling away from the curved board underneath it so quality could be better. Read more

The smaller shape and curve make these easier to use on baby’s hands than a regular, straight file. My son is 1, and he is not a fan of getting his nails filed. His nails grow very fast so I must fileThem regularly to avoid him scratching himself, and these files don’t seem to bother him as much as regular files do. They are gentle, yet effective. Read more

After a couple of days being home with my newborn I started to notice how quickly her nails were growing and how she loves to scratch both herself and me... I was so scared to use the nail clippers (Frida brand of course) but thankfully it came with a nail file!! So much easier to use and I don’t live in fear of hurting her! 2 months on and i am still using the files. Read more

My baby hates getting his nails filed. I bought the glass emery boards but they don't work well at all. These are the only baby nail files I could find so I thought I'd give them a try. I like them very much. Using the curve to my advantage took a few tries but I like it. While they do work, they seem to take a little longer filing than my infant would like. Would purchase again. I loved these when I first got them for my newborn but i re-ordered and they changed the product. It doesn’t file my baby nails anymore, the surface is plastic now and the edges are thickers. Why change what was such a good product?! It’s not working at all now. Returning. Super disappointed. Read more

Purchased these because clipping my newborns nails is terrifying. However, they don’t work/ file his nail down at all after minutes of filing. A complete waste of money. Don’t waste your time on these. Read more

I don't think they work that great at all..The shape is easy to hang on to,But you're better off just buying a buffing nail block or use a regular nail file and save some money Read more

Product itself looks ok but not easy to use it on newborns. Their nails are tender and the curved shape does not file the nails as expected. Read more
