Got this Abbott diabetes log book in the mail today and have already set it up for return. I paid around the same price as I did for my present one that's coming to an end, which has 32 pages. This one looked so skinny in the little bag, I had to count, and found it had 16 pages! Such a deal - half the product for the same price. Plus the outside cover looks like it was printed out on plain paper instead of shiny card stock like the previous one. That's minor, but it sure doesn't help the rip-off feeling. STRONGLY recommend finding yours on eBay - I just did for half the price with no shipping cost and just as fast (just needed to buy a five-pack, which after this is just fine). Read more

I hoped these would be the Abbott Freestyle log books that are thicker and have the cardboard cover, but they were thinner and only had a paper cover. For nearly $7 a booklet, that's way too expensive for what you get. I needed a couple of books so I could record my glucose levels, but expected better for the price. They will serve their purpose, but by the end of the book the cover usually is starting to pull off the booklet, which doesn't happen with the cardboard covers. For this price, I'd expect at least a three-pack of books and not a single. FYI, I needed new ones and was able to find them online from the Abbott store where you get six booklets for about the same price as one booklet from this site. I won't be buying here again. Many hear have complained the booklet only comes with 16 pages. If it count the front and back of each page, 32 pages. Just like the original. Also complaints that their had a different cover. The I received was this I paper. Just like my orginial. Overall I'm fine with this booklet and will order another when I fill this one. Read more

Although the pages are printed in the same format, the paper is thinner and Less pages as before this new Higher priced edition. You can correct the flimsiness of the cover page which makes it un-usable as delivered (same thickness as inside pages) by buying some "card Stock sheets' and cutting them to the correct size and stapling the sturdy cover onto it. I find it hard to believe Abbot does Not make enough money on their Test Strips to cut back on paper costs with a price increase. They know that their biggest users MUST BY LAW keep an accounting of their Blood sugar levels tested. Read more

I apparently didn't read as to how many books I would get for the price I paid??? Upon opening box I received there was only 1 booklet in the box I feel I was short changed and I won't make that mistake again. disappointed Read more

I like these booklets, but I think they are overpriced. I really feel Abbott should give them away free for buying all the testing supplies. Read more
