For people including most women an iron supplement is needed. This iron is ferrous fumerate and not the ferrous gluconate found in most other products that tends to be constipating and unpleasant to take. Also the price per pill is so low it is a must buy. Have reordered and great service. The key is that this is the non constipating iron. Read more

Just what the doctor suggested for me as ferrous SULFATE is NOT what you want, as it is constipating. Will buy again. Read more

I take a daily supplement of Iron (as most woman of my age) but taking the wrong supplement can cause constipation issues. After doing a bit of research, I found very little difference between the Ferrous Fumarate (which is what is in this bottle) and the Ferrous Sulfate (which I currently take). The only real difference seems to be less constipation with the Fumarate; and the amount of iron that is in each bottle (Fumarate at 29mg vs Sulfate at 65mg). As the recommended Daily Value is only 18mg, both bottles exceed the mark.As for the Fumarate (this bottle), the taste is a bit chalky and has a bit of aftertaste but if you are taking with food as recommended, it won't make a difference. These tablets are also nice and small so you don't have to choke it down.I'm not a big fan of the cost at $12.95 for 100 tablets. But that is because the iron I usually buy is for 2 bottles at a cheaper price. But they are also the Sulfate tablets, which cause the constipation.I have only taken the tablets for about a week so no side effects have been presented so far. I will update if I get any negative reactions but at this time, I am very happy with the purchase. Read more

I'm typically low on iron, especially on a monthly basis. (Yeah....)Thus, taking a tablet each day to stay ahead of it is a huge help in relieving anemia symptoms like poor breathing, insomnia, and more.I like that these are small, easy to swallow tablets. I really like that they didn't cause any gastrointestinal distress - I've taken some that requested an immediate, non-negotiable exit that wasn't a pleasant experience. No effects? Score. It doesn't appear that they're coated, as there's a fine powder of iron tablet inside the container. Not a huge fan of that, as I'm not sure how much is actually being deducted from each tablet due to loss. Even without the coating, they go down easily with no ill tastes. A single "tiny tablet" is a dose, per the nutrition information, and they're vegan which I really like. Read more

This small-size supplement contains a high potency of iron content. After I took it, it seems to give me a warmer body and less fatigue. It is not a big pill, so it is easy to swallow. I follow the direction which helps with less nausea feeling when I take it with food. So it does not upset my stomach. It is a great supplement for chronicle anemic. Read more

I suffer from RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome), and recently learned that it can be caused by an iron deficiency that does not show up in blood ferritin levels. I had been supplementing with 65 mg iron sulfate, but I have read that a lot of that goes unabsorbed and forms free radicals. So far this stuff, only 29 mg, taken with vitamin C, appears to keep the RLS under control. Hope that continues! Read more
