This product appears to be well-made but their manufacturing process must have changed since the 5-star reviews. The zippers are TERRIBLE, to say the least. I purchased three (3) of these items and I NEVER got the primary zipper to work on one of them. The others were so difficult to zip that you might literally work for 3 to 5 minutes just getting it zipped up. Again, I purchased three (3) of these -- one for myself and one for each of my two grandsons. All of them are now in the trash. Don't get ripped off -- avoid this product like the plague! Read more
The print is super cute and it holds an impressive amount of food. That being said, it has a white interior easily stained by pretty much anything, and there is a weird netting on the inside flap that attracts crumbs and bits of food. It’s not easy to clean. I finally threw it in the washing machine to sanitize, but it’s still stained from tomatoes, strawberry juice, basically anything a pre schooler might eat messily. Great lunchbox for a kindergarten kid. I'm able to pack a Bentgo box, a juice, and 2 daytime snacks in this bag without issues zipping. So far has been easy to wipe down. We haven't had it THAT LONG (only ~1 month) so I can't confirm how it'll hold up over time, but so far no issues. Read more
Every single time the zippers are shut its a battle to open them, thought maybe after some use they would get easier but they still are not working and unfortunately I bought this early in preparation for school so we couldn't return it. Basically have to toss it unless I want to waste 10 mins everyday just trying to get it open. Read more
We've been using this lunchbox for about 4 months and it's been great. It keeps the food cold, it's easy to clean (even when my 4 year old puts leftover food -berries, pasta, etc - right in the lunch box. I was bummed when I packed his lunch this morning and noticed it's ripping on a seam. I considered buying another because we like it so much but the durability is an issue for me. Read more
I had to return it because the zippers rattle so loudly, it sounds like a train bell. That's on the blue denim one. Not sure if they're all the same. Other than that it seems pretty well made, though I don't like that the lining is bright white. Other brands have grey inside, which is better when it comes to food stains. Read more
It's a cute design and my daughter loved it. That's where it ends. The zippers constantly get snagged on the inside threads, the sides crush on easily because there is no rigidity to them. The inside looks easy to clean but after a week of use with everyday wipe-out or wash it looks and smells dirty. Idk, I probably wouldn't buy this again. Read more
**UPDATE** it lasted the whole school year and is still in great condition.This is my fourth grader’s lunch box. I wash it in the machine weekly (no dryer) and it holds up very well. The net inside doesn’t hold stains. The rest of it is in very good shape. We have had it for six months or so. I’ll buy again, but won’t need to for a while. Read more
