I use Bare Minerals loose powder foundation as my makeup of choice because I have sensitive skin. I have always used their brand of makeup brushes also. My favorite brush finally began to fall apart and since it would have been over $50 to replace it, I needed a more immediate and cost friendly solution until I could afford to replace it. I chose this brush for its shape, low price, and numerous positive reviews. I was not disappointed! This brush is amazing and it outshines my expensive Bare Minerals brand brushes to an extent that is almost comical! Not only is it super soft but it blends the makeup beautifully into my skin. It holds pigment so well that I have even noticed that I am going through my makeup less quickly than I was before. I have been using it for three weeks and while it was meant to be a temporary brush until I could afford a better one, I am now convinced that there is no better foundation brush than this one. I intend to order another one just to have it on hand. I may even buy a few and hang onto them to give as stocking stuffers over the holidays because I love mine THAT much. I bought this after I returned a $30 "It Cosmetics" brush to Ulta because it soaked up all my product instead of depositing it on my face. This one doesn't do that at all, it's wonderful and soft, and a third of the price. I'm going to order another as a back-up for when this is dirty. I am 39 years old and use this for foundations and tinted moisturizers. It also blends perfectly. It doesn't clog product all up in my brush after 1 use because my products go onto my face not into the brush. I am not one of those people who want to wash cosmetic brushes every single day. I am absolutely in LOVE with it and it has officially replaced my beauty blender. It is sosoft and has NO random prickly hair in it (which I find to be a commonproblem with make up brushes. I love that the bristles on this flat top Kabuki brush are so soft and still short for maximum control when stippling foundation. I will not ever again use a different brush for this type of makeup! The handle is not over sized like some bushes make them, so it is easy to put this in a makeup pouch with your other tools and goodies. I wish it came with a pouch or something to keep it nice when stored, but I have used this for the past week of foundation spreading, and gotten "No way, your not her mother!" compliments when our family goes out! I'm very very happy with everything! By the by, stippling vs sponging on makeup...there is no comparison stippiling spreads and lays everything out evenly with no streaks! I love this brush for my Mac foundation!! I use a full coverage foundation, so it's a bit heavy and hard to get off the bristles. The best way that I have found to clean this brush, is by using an old Mary Kay electric Skinvigorate facial cleaner. I use hot water to wet the brush head on my electric brush and the Kabuki brush, add a pea sized drop of Dawn soap to my electric brush, and turn the spinning Skinvigorate brush on. I apply it to the Kabuki brush head and let the spinning brush do its work. I usually have to repeat the soap application multiple times to get all of the foundation off, but after I am done the Kabuki brush is as good as new! I know it's like against all rules to get makeup brushes wet with hot water because the fibers from the brush will fall out because it heats up the glue holding the fibers together, however, I have not lost a single strand from this Kabuki brush! It's amazing! If you clean it once a week, it will maintain perfect coverage without streaks, especially if you are using a full coverage, thick, foundation! It is SUPER soft on my face and feels luxurious! Just make sure you keep it clean, because when it has old foundation on it, the bristles become scratchy, like with any foundation. Great brush to apply foundation to give a flawless finish. I use Estee Lauder Double Wear but find with these brushes I use far less of it! Prep your skin properly first - cleanse, tone and moisturise - then use a foundation primer and then give your foundation a good shake and tip a small amount onto the head of the brush and then apply and blend all over your face and jawline - you can pat lightly into areas where you need a little more coverage. Can't recommend highly enough, these kabuki brushes are a complete game changer when it comes to applying foundation evenly and blending to a flawless finish. No loss of individual bristles and you can apply your make up quickly and easily to a far better finish than you can achieve with your fingers, sponges and conventional flat foundation brushes - plus you use much less foundation, so the brush is also saving you money when buying premium foundations at £30 plus, as you use far less, so will last longer and you avoid that horrible 'caked on' effect. Even my other half noticed and said how lovely my make up looked!!Cleaning is also a breeze - just work some hair conditioner and water into the bristles first a couple of times to loosen the foundation from the bristles and then use hair shampoo and water and work it through, then rinse until clean. Then I finish off with a tiny spot of more hair conditioner, before the final rinse, then simply prop the brush up vertically to dry naturally onto a towel with the bristles resting lightly on the towel (bristles side down to prevent water leaking into the handle) Job done! I purchased this flat top foundation brush after reading its reviews and after particularly wanting to change my foundation application brush to this type of brush.It arrived speedily which was great, and I couldn't wait to try it out! - and was blown away at just how much easier it was to both apply my foundation using this brush, it going much further too, and blending, - in fact, this is THE best foundation brush I have ever used! After a while researching these brushes I ordered this large size flat top brush by Keshima and couldn’t wait to try it.It is fab! After dotting my usual amount of foundation on my face I used the brush in a swirling motion to distribute the foundation.Just keep twirling until you look fabulous. Just be cautious..... I didn’t need as much foundation as I normally use so be careful with the quantity you apply. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t comment. All in all a good buy. Read more

I have used the brush daily since receiving it and have now washed it twice. There is no shedding so far, especially during application. It is soft yet firm, the large head makes it very easy and quick to apply foundation. The price is excellent and it beats the top brands brushes.
