This is the best denture adhesive I have ever used. It holds both upper and lower plates in place all day. I love that it has no flavour to it. The smaller tip allows for much greater control of application and there is much less waste. When I ordered my 4-pack this time, however, Amazon sent me the Scope-flavoured kind. Yuck! In theory, it sounds great because you'd have minty-fresh breath all day long. In practice, though, it's awful! While you DO have that minty-fresh breath, it also makes everything (and I mean EVERYTHING - even water!) taste like Scope mouthwash. And have you ever accidentally swallowed mouthwash or toothpaste? You know that pain in your stomach you get afterward? Well, imagine that feeling (along with accompanying nausea) all day (and all night) long. The two kinds (Gum Care and Scope flavoured) are NOT interchangeable and are NOT the same. The regular Fixodent Plus Gum Care would get 5 stars from me, but the Scope flavoured nightmare Amazon sent me gets just 1 star (because I could not give it less than 1 star). After using all kinds of adhesive creams and strips that left a lot of annoying goop after removing the dentures I bought Fixodent-plus in a drug store, just to try it. After the first few times of testing I found that his is the best adhesive cream that I have found up to now, and it I am ordering it from now on from Amazon: The nozzle is very small, so the adhesive comes out in a thin streak and no gooey 'blob' oozes out. I found that a trick helps even more: Before I use it I let the tube sit in warm water, upside-down. This makes it even easier to squeeze the adhesive thinly on the denture. It holds the denture perfectly in place, and if one 'paints' the streak of adhesive very close to the rim of the denture and follows the diagram where else to place the adhesive, no significant food particle can 'sneak' through this barrier. Of course, there is some residue of 'goop' when the denture is being removed, but so much less than any of the others, even the strips – up to now this is the best I could find! Read more

Followed directions and have no problems, even with my somewhat loose/misfiting dentures. I've applied the adhesive in the early morning and eaten meals throughout the day and evening that included hot and cold drinks and dishes with no problems. Highly(!) recommended. Read more

As a denture wearer, I'm always searching for a better mousetrap. This formulation is for 'gum care' and it's very different than Fixodent's no-zinc offerings. The texture is a tad bit slimy but if applied exactly as illustrated on the product's box, it won't leak ouf and holds relatively well. I am in the process of getting new dentures made and hope I won't need this formulation long. I will, however use her sister product, Fixodent with Scope mouthwash. These two products differ quite a bit from the no-zinc ... the application tube has a pointed spout which gives you very good control while applhing product. I have switched from regular no-zinc to the easy on gums variety. Read more

Having dentures sucks. Having dentures and having to glue them extra sucks. This reduces some of the level of suck. After 9 years of having dentures I can definitively say this is the only glue I don't absolutely detest. Read more

I love this product. My issue is with what I received. 2 years of using this and I’ve never had a problem. I ordered the 4-pk from here, they are sealed in a plastic bag. Because of that I never opened the individual bag until needed; the first box I opened was minus a lid! Not even loose in box. Don’t even know how that was possible. So already put money. Please just unseal bag, open every box so as not to repeat what happened to me. Read more
