This toy is a hit! I bought it as a gift for my 1 year old daughter and as soon as she opened it, her 18-month old cousin took off running with it (she didn't mind, she's flexible like that). Since then, every cousin and friend who comes over has to have a turn with it. Some kick, roll and throw it, some like to push the buttons, and others just like to pull on the taggies on the top. Of all of the noise-making toys we've had, this one is one of my favorites. The songs and phrases are pleasant and varied enough that you don't get sick of them quickly. And when you do want quiet, the sound switch is easily accessible (to adults, clever design!) and the ball is still engaging and fun. Totally not what I was expecting. The ball isn’t very educational. No matter where you touch there’s something else that starts “talking”. Not something I would buy again or give as a gift. We just use it as a ball and that’s fine. But the sound is always off since it never “speaks” the right options. I have replaced the batteries even though the toy is brand new. We liked this product and originally rated it 4 stars, however, within a couple months max it no longer sings or counts. It only says "it's music time", "it's learning time", and "lets play". I changed batteries but still the same. I'm disappointed as this was a nice product but literally within a couple months it's not even functioning properly and it honestly didn't get a whole lot of attention so I don't understand why it had already stopped performing. My now 20 month old would probably have enjoyed it better than when he received it at a younger age since he understands so much more now. What a shame. Read more

Absolutely love this ball! I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting. Yes, it plays songs and counts repetitively that may be annoying to some adults, but it what makes your child smile and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. This has become my child's favorite go to toy which we got for her 1st birthday. She love it so much that she has it all day to when she goes to sleep at night to traveling in the car.During the day she tosses it around and sits it with her when she watches TV. In car rides it's been even better because it's the one toy that can't easily gets tossed to the side where no one can get to it. My child loves playing throw away with hopes it bounces back now. She immediately smiles when she sees it and loves hearing the sounds it makes.I'm of the mindset that as a parent you should reinforce learning with your child so even though it counts numbers and sings songs, I'm not sure it will mean anything to your LO unless you sing along or copy the noises. So again, consider your expectations when purchasing this toy. The sound can easily be turned off or sound lowered and it's also machine washable when you take the electronic insert out. Another plus for me when my LO had an accident throw up on it. Keep in mind also that this is made of cloth material and not the soccer type of material - so don't expect it to bounce or be kicked around like that. Love this! My 8 month old rolls and chases it, and he dances to the music. My toddler love it too. My favorite part though, is that it is washable! I pull out the electronic piece inside, and throw the outside into the washer machine!!!! How cool is that?! Read more

This is a great toy like the rest of the laugh n learn series. I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 because it is difficult to get to the on/off switch (good for prying kid fingers bad for parent) and it is too easy to set off with no way other than the power switch to turn it down or off for about 5 minutes. But other than that this is an interactive, durable toy. My son has had it since 18 months and has chewed on it, hit it, slammed it into things with no damage. He is now, at 2, getting into the actual activities of it and has learned some counting from using it and enjoys it immensely. Read more

We bought this for our 3mo old daughter for Christmas to grow in to. She loves how it sings to her and smiles when she sees it!The only suggestion I have for the maker of the product is the sensitivity of the device itself. In order for the ball to sing it starts when it’s barely moved. I think it could have a few more songs or maybe have the colors/numbers spoken.Great toy, with enjoyment! Read more
