Phone camera doesn't do this justice. I am a self-proclaimed pee-on-a-stick addict. From about 6dpo till my period I take tests. I loved first response tests during my first pregnancy 3 years ago, but now I'm traumatized by these indent lines.I have been trying for 3 months now and had many indent lines pop up within the 3 minute time frame. One was so bad I started crying because I thought for sure it was positive (in the middle), which in actuality it was a faulty test. These cost an arm and a leg, I would expect to not have to worry about a strong indent like this in more than half of the tests I purchase. I keep going back to them, maybe because I like to suffer 🙃 but I'm beginning to really feel like it's not worth it. Read more
Unfortunately, I just looked at the stars and did not bother to read reviews before I purchased these tests. BIG mistake. I took the first test after I experienced some symptoms, and immediately a faint line caught my eye. With excitement, I took a second test a couple days later and saw the same faint line. But, I wasnt getting positive results on any digital tests, so I hopped on Amazon and started reading reviews. I saw a ton of reviews that said false positives, and that the "faint pregnant" line was on the test before you even pee on it. So, I ran to the bathroom to look, and sure enough there was a faint line on my brand new, never used test. When I compared them, The lines were all in the exact same spot, and all false. Got my hopes up terribly bad and left me feeling pretty shattered when I realized these were fake. I am very upset. Read more
I really like First Response. I just don’t like how expensive it is. I got a positive at 9 DPO on a cheap test and I tested using FRER at 10 DPO. It definitely shows a more visible line compared to a cheap one but it’s not practical if you’re wanting to test more than once. (POAS addict here) Read more
I had two different false positives with these tests. We’ve been TTC for a year now, with four miscarriages. My doctor told me to test early so we can start blood thinners for a condition that I have. So I went to these for early results. Right before Christmas I had a false positive, got bloodwork that day & HCG was below 1. Two days later, I got another false positive with these. Bloodwork confirmed that as well. For someone TTC, with recurrent losses, a false positive is another devastating blow. I would not recommend these. These tests have gone so downhill. I used them a few months ago and never had indents or false positives. This month I’ve had 5 days in a row of faint pink lines all coming up within 3 minutes- but not pregnant! It’s heartbreaking for someone who wants to be pregnant so bad so have her hopes up unnecessarily. I even dipped one in water and got the same faint pink line popping up. Obviously these tests have changed recently and the manufacturer has to be held accountable and change something here- I’ve had at least 5-6 different boxes and all with these indent issues (pink ones!). Avoid and stick with easy at home or pregmate strips which I’ve never had indents on! Read more
False positives on all 3 tests. Went to Walgreens to try another box and also got false positives on those. Kept one and tested day 14 of my current cycle and still got a false positive. I’m not sure what has happened to this brand but these have always been my go to tests. Very disappointing for someone ttc. Read more
Indent lines are terrible!!! As you can see from the photos multiple positives with color and showed up within the time frame! However I’m not pregnant! True disappointment for those in the TTC community! Read more
