I keep antibacterial wipes on hand but since the COVID 19 crisis they are impossible to find. Bought several bottles of this spray which contains the active ingredient, benzalkonium chloride, to spray on regular or makeup remover wipes, or even a paper towel. When I got a small cut, blister and splinters from doing yard work, sprayed it on and no infection or redness developed and the sites healed rapidly. It does not sting, is colorless and has very little smell. It does not work on coronavirus, mind you, but is effective against a wide variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. It's also effective against ringworm and some viruses. (This is a chemical that is used to clean the skin before drawing blood or administering a shot.) The bottles are rather small, but you don't need much for it to be effective and the little sprayer works well. Great item to keep in your first aid kit or medicine chest. It's pretty safe for dogs but use with great caution on cats as it can ulcerate their tongue and mouth from licking it when grooming. Read more
