My 4 year old deals with moderate chronic constipation due to being an extremely picky eater and not getting enough dietary fiber so these really help her along with drinking ample amounts of water and if necessary a tiny bit of mirilax once in a blue moon (which I hate doing but I only do when absolutely necessary). Obviously it's fiber not a laxative so it's not an overnight relief type of thing but will get you or your child on the right track. My daughter had pretty quick results but everyone is different. She still deals with some constipation but not as bad or as often. I bought the kids version because the normal (adult) version was sold out online. The amount of fiber in 2 chews is 3 for kids and apparently 4 for adults. My thought was, "well it's for kids, worst case, it tastes even better than the adult version". Well... I was wrong. The adult version is delicious, tastes like a gummy candy, so good my husband once ate too many because he thought they tasted so good, and.. well, you know how that went. But, I was wrong! The kid version tastes significantly worse than the adult version. How is that even possible!!! And since it came in a 3 pack, I am now stuck with these for a while. So, if you are an adult, I would recommend hunting down the adult version, and if you are a kid, take the adult version, but half the dosage. Read more

My daughter has struggled with constipation for years, and I have never been able to bring myself to give her Miralax (or other drinks of the sort). I purchased these for my youngest as he’s had problems going poop and would sit on the toilet and cry because he really didn’t want to go. We recently switched my son to this brand of fiber gummies and they work almost instantaneously! We pair them with a daily probiotic so he’s regular but they totally work! The first few days his poop was really dark, like almost black and lots of it so it’s hard telling if he was just really backed up or what but be aware. Fiber advance has been a godsend to both my children. Since they were babies they've had trouble with hard stools. Before they could chew solids we had to put miralax in their bottles to soften their stools. When they got older we started them on two fiber advance chewables per day.
