I have to recharge it after EVERY use! (It recommends to charge for a full 4 hours before using, which I did!if you have thick hair it’s gonna take long to curl it, mine is thin and I had to keep one strand of hair in for 2-3 cycles(at highest setting) the hair strands HAVE to be 2cm!Do I like it? Yeah, it works good but has some kinks to make it work!Does it save time? Yes, you to chop your time compared to the manually, but personally you can get thicker strands done faster with a regular curling iron! Get hot enough? Yes! And does keep the temp pretty fast!Charge? Upset with very weak battery system!Charges in 3-4 hours fullyHair? MY HAIR DID GET CAUGHT IN IT!!! I loved this curler. I bought it in December and followed all the instructions for charging the battery including purchasing the correct adapter to charge it. Due to Covid I was not getting out so I did not curl my hair very often. I had used it a handful of times when it would no longer hold a charge long enough to do my hair. Now, 5 months later it won’t charge at all so it is worthless. I am very disappointed in the life of this product. Read more

Once you get the hang of it this thing is easy to use. Took me a couple tries to figure it out but I’m also not very coordinated. Takes about 6 seconds to curl and the curl holds all day, which never happens for me with a regular curling iron. As you can see from photos my hair is pin straight and very fine. I absolutely LOVE this product! My curls look amazing and last all day. It only takes me 10 minutes to do my hair (I have fine hair) so I don't have to wake up extra early to look amazing. HOWEVER, this is the second one I have owned because the battery stops charging. My first one lasted approximately 5 months. My current one has only been 2 months. I have not found a product that gives the same results. SO, PLEASE figure out how to make the battery life sustainable. This product is AMAZING! I have very straight, very long, unruly hair. Mixed Native American and French/Irish heritage. So, straight, coarse, and thin. Ugh. Never held a curl with a curling iron. This made beautiful curls that LAST! It took a little bit of a learning curve but the picture shows my first attempt so not too much of a problem. The battery ran out just as I finished with no time to do a touch up on the first few trial pieces but it is long hair and I was learning. I would recommend this to ANYONE with a similar hair type. I can’t speak to thick hair but will try to get my friend with thicker hair to try it and update. I bought the recommended hair heat spray and it helps A LOT. Definitely would recommend using it with this. Overall, I would give 8/10 just because of short battery life. If that weren’t an issue it would be a 10! Worth the money and time. I am an older woman with trouble holding my arms steady for a curling iron and this was so quick to curl that I wasn’t hitting muscle fatigue just holding my arms over my head lol. I have a friend that has this same one and recommended me to get it for my photoshoot, that would be easier to do my hair considering I'm 9 months pregnant. Well, it is easy to use, but it get stuck with my hair inside quite often, so this might not be the best option if you are doing this on your own and your hair is really long. You need to use really thin and small sections of your hair so it works, and the battery will not last a whole section for me, so I really need to run to make sure I can get it all done in time. I tried a couple of times and to be honest with you if the day of the photoshoot it does not work properly, I will just return it. The last time my hair was stuck I had to pull it hard from the machine so it would let it go, so if you have a short hair, go for it, if your hair is long like mine, you might consider something else... Ich habe den Lockenstab aufgrund der positiven Bewertung kaufen. Habe ihn bestellt, am nächsten Tag war er schon da. Ich hatte mich riesig gefreut und ehrlich gesagt auch vielleicht zu hohe Erwartungen (mein letzter Lockenstab ist mittlerweile 8 Jahre alt, da habe ich mir natürlich ein besseres Produkt erhofft). Mehrmals eine dünne oder auch mal dickere Strähne versucht: es ist NICHTS passiert. Die Strähnen waren direkt danach immer noch total glatt. Mein anderer Lockenstab ist tausend mal besser. Schade. Ich hatte mir viel mehr erhofft. Mein anderer Lockenstab ist leider eher kompliziert, ich schaffe es meist nicht meine Haare von hinten zu locken, aber dieser ist völlig rausgeschmissenes Geld. The media could not be loaded.  When hair gets tangled it really does get stuck in the barrel and the only way to get it out is to press the curl button again. I ordered these after losing my temper with my straighteners and burning my hand too many times with my wand. I reckon it is near impossible to get your hair caught as there is a plastic device for measuring your hair, and if like me you are impatient and don’t use it it simply won’t allow you to insert too much hair.My hair is very thick and I have to do it in 3 layers which is annoying and takes me about 20 minutes to do my whole head HOWEVER the curls are amazing. They are quite ringlet like at first but after a brush and then dropping a little they are very 2021. I will be interested to see what they are like in the morning after I have slept on it but so far I am very very pleased. Read more
