This is not a genuine Fat Brain Toys product as advertised. These are made of hard plastic with many defects whereas the genuine product is silicone. The product packaging is a Chinese company- Koty Tololo. I attempted to contact the company and they have never responded to my complaint Read more
My grand-twins, boy and girl aged 16 months, have incredibly creative toys, large and small. Their mom, my daughter, is a former early childhood teacher and National Gallery of Art Family Programs designer and leader. I am a former professor, teaching teachers how to teach reading. (Hint: not with computer software). All this being said, I want to command the fat brain company for their ingenious, safe, and amazing toys. I ordered two products from fat brain, the whirly ones and also the dimple. Both of these toys are big hits with all of us! I usually just buy one toy for the two children, but this time my daughter asked me how she could get another dimple. So I ordered another. The twins each need to have their own Dimple! I would highly recommend this company, above all others, for a safe, creative, and child friendly toys. The whirly ones stick anywhere and provide fascination for the children. I will be looking for fat brain first from now on. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Daughter played with these at a local toy shop and loved them. Wish I could have bought them at the shop but then my daughter would have seen! They spin very well, but they do loose suction after a while so you just press it back down. Read more
I am a speech therapist for 3-4 year olds with autism. They all enjoy this toy very much. The suction cups work very well on a smooth table surface or a white board. Most of the kids can pull them off the table so the suction is strong enough to use the toy, but not so strong they can't move them around. A friend has had them for 6 months or more and they still work great and the kids have not lost their fascination with them. Read more
These Whirly Squigz are an improvement design-wise over the original style, but I still like the original ones better. Our first set was wonderful... until they “slid” down the center post and would no longer spin. It was really disappointing because my children loved them and they weren’t inexpensive. This new design has a much larger cap on the top which should prevent the previous problem from happening; that’s good. The problem is, they are much less “sticky”. Our first set could be stuck to almost anything and they would spin and spin and spin. This set sticks, spins a few times, and then falls off. It doesn’t matter what the surface is or if I wet the suction cup or not, it’s really disappointing. Perhaps we got a bum set... but I prefer the first style because they stuck much better and spin much longer... before they broke. Read more
We loved this product and the kids (3 and 1) were both equally enthusiastic. However, 2 out of the 3 spinners would not stay attached either to the glass door or the mirror we tried to use them on. The 3rd spinner (and actually the largest) stuck better but kept falling off within a day or so. Sorry I spent the money on this product. Idea is great - kids interest was high- just didn’t hold well to surfaces. Read more
My little guy LOVES things that spin. They are his absolute favorite. His aunt gifted him a set of Whirly Squigs and basically won Christmas that year. I purchased a second set because he loves them so much. I stick them to the inside of the car windows, toss one or two in a backpack for travel to appointments, and we often have them stuck to the patio door. (Occasionally after the kids have gone to bed, the suction will give out and they fall to the floor, scaring the dog... but this is mostly because of the imperfections on the surface. If my glass doors were *actually* clean, these would never let go. But alas, toddlers and spaghettios...) I did break one of the original set though. His OT suggested covering a favorite toy in theraputty so encourage him to stop avoiding certain textures. Alas, the theraputty DID NOT COME OFF. (No fault of the Whirly Squigs. That one is all Mommy!) So, I don't recommend anything like that. I chiseled at it for hours and eventually popped the top off after getting too vigorous with the use of a cheese knife. Long story short, we love them. We're probably going to buy even more. Read more
These toys are built well and will provide days and days of fun for your little guys. My grandkids (twins) are 10 months old and really enjoy these, whether you spin them for them, or they manipulate the toys by themselves. Highly recommend the entire line, but these specifically are a big hit.Still think this is a great product, but less than one month of use the “4 prop” toy stopped spinning freely. Internally it looks like it has come apart, as now a black ring plastic ring is visible that has come loose from the lower soft pink plastic part. It doesn’t look obvious how to re-insert this without breaking the toy.I’m going to contact Amazon/Manufacturer for advisement. Will update review with progress.Contacted Amazon directly about defect. Received a refund. As the babies loved these toys, I decided to give them another chance and purchased another 3 pack of the Whirly Squigz. Updated from 3 stars to 4. Read more

Great qualityExcellent to encourage standing & pulling up to vertical surfacesGreat for hand eye & motor coordination tooThoroughly recommend Read more
Our baby really likes playing with these and the suction cups make them easy to attach to a glass door, which makes him want to get up more vertically and practice sitting and standing on his knees. They spin easily enough and for a long enough time. My only complaint is that I wish the suctions cups lasted a little longer - they tend to fall off after about 4-5 minutes. Read more
