While I like that this is a facial moisturizer formulated with shea butter, the addition of various fragrance ingredients is a real bummer. The scent is cheap smelling and cloying and really lingers. The weirdest part is how it is listed in the ingredients--I usually ctrl-F to search for fragrance before buying a face moisturizer and I didn't catch it with this product because the fragrance is listed as "flavor (aroma)*" and then "*natural flavor." I will say, the packaging itself is super luxurious and I love that the little spatula that it comes with can stick to the magnetic lid, even though the outside of the lid is made of wood. I bought this for my girlfriend because she loves moisturizing creams, lotions and everything else that comes with skin care. I'll be honest and say I have basically no knowledge of this type of stuff and bought it on a whim but it was a huge success. She was very surprised that I picked it out haha. Exceptional. I love the light honey fragrance. Once it’s on your face, the scent fades. A little goes a long way and it absorbs quickly. My skin feels moisturized all day. I also love that it comes in a glass container and has a little metal spatula to avoid contaminents in your moisturizer. This is a phenomenal moisturizer for the price point. This is no doubt a pricey face cream for the size jar you’re getting, but it is so rich that a tiny amount of product goes a long way. It has the creamiest, most wonderful texture. Not oily or greasy at all despite being so rich. Just silky smooth and hydrating, and it feels nice and cooling when you apply it. A perfect night cream. I noticed others commenting that it is heavily scented and wonder if they got a bad batch because it has a very light scent of honey. Nothing too strong and it fades within moments of applying. I tend to avoid products with strong fragrances, and I didn’t find the light fragrance in this one bothered me at all. It smells natural - like real honey - and not perfumey, as if you were smelling the honey ingredient itself and not any added fragrance. The spatula it comes with is very nifty also as it is magnetic and stays on the lid. I apply this to my face at night and my skin feels so soft and smooth when I wake up the next morning.I’ve been very impressed by the farmacy brand so far - I’ve tried their daily greens gel moisturizer and cleansing balm and those also have the most beautiful texture. I have been struggling with very dry, cracked skin on my face this winter, this has never happened to me before! I decided to try this face cream and it did not disappoint! It has really helped moisturize my skin and I personally think my skin looks better than ever! The scent is nice, a touch of honey but not overpowering. The cream is nice and thick and hasn’t been making me oily which is a huge win! Plus it comes with a metal applicator so you don’t have to dig your fingers into the jar each time.
