I've been using Fake Bake Flawless Liquid for the past 7 years and have always loved it. However, my boyfriend has always complained about the smell. Finally, I reluctantly agreed to try out some other self-tanners. I searched for products that specifically had reviews that touched on their smells. When I came upon this product, I was very immediately excited because it is made by Fake Bake, so I ordered it. Let me just say - seconds after applying the first dollop, I saw that this product was better [for me] than what I'd been devoted to for more than half a decade. The product is not a spray that you apply to a mitt; rather, it's a serum that you apply with gloves. It goes on very easily and the metered amount that is dispensed with one pump is the perfect amount for either my entire face, one full arm, or one leg below the knee. After application, you leave the product on for 4-6 hours and then wash off, HOWEVER, you don't have to worry if it is left on for longer because it stops developing after a certain amount of time, which is nice. Also, after the product dries (only takes about two minutes which is great), it doesn't rub off on clothes or bed sheets, so again no worries. After rinsing off, you will lose a little color, but you can immediately put on another application if you desire. For me, this product has gone on evenly every time I've applied it, and THERE IS LITTLE-TO-NO SMELL. I highly recommend this product; I truly believe it is Fake Bake's best. Read more

I have to start off with saying this product is 5 stars for what I was looking for. From being in the tanning industry for almost 2 decades everyone has their personal look or goal so I'm going to do my best to be specific with describing the results. I am very very fair by nature but can get very dark bronze with sun eposure so I have a preference of having some color other wise I get so pale I look sick. This serum gave me just the right amount of brown bronze ( NOT orange bronze) color as if I just spent 2 days at the beach and the pinkness had already turned brown. I also have sensitive skin and this didn't pool in my pores or block them on my face causing a break out. Also the results were never streaky and the formula wasn't so dark that people didn't know who I was because of a dramatic difference. If you're looking for 5 shades darker this won't make you happy. But if your looking for something to put on quickly (10 for my whole body when in a hurry) for a night out, day at the beach or to go to work this is what you're looking for! Read more

I love the original fake bake spray but decided to try this formula. It goes on great without needing a mitt. So much faster & less messy than original.I use it on my face without breaking out.My only complaint is that the guide color does transfer a lot. My sheets & pillowcases are orange. It does washout but seems annoying since the original spray doesn’t rub off at all. I only use it before bed for this reason. I’m sure it would get all over your clothes.The scent is not as strong as the original & it makes my skin feel soft.I use the jergins hint of color in between applications. Alright folks. I dont write many reviews unless the product is worthy-and this stuff certainly is! & i Wish i could give it more stars...ok, so I am a Loooong time avid self 'fake baker'. You name it & I've probably tried it. I've always liked the fake bake products, more than others. But this right here is the real deal. The color is beautiful. Very natural, I'm a super white girl lol so I'm always a little leary when applying self tanner. It's dark for sure, but it's perfect & i'm positive a second coat would make anyone look as if they took some lavish vacation in the tropics! Gorgeous-really. It's super easy to apply using a MIT or even gloves & it literally dries in seconds NOT minutes & prepare to look tan FAST. It also makes your skin sUper soft. It has its usual DHA scent after its been on a while but it's mild and you won't even care because it's such an amazing tan. First off: If you want to look like you've been on vacation in the tropics for a week OVERNIGHT, this isn't the product for you. It takes a few days to get really dark. BUT, if that's not an issue, this stuff is ammmazzinnggg. I am super pale, and have been fake tanning for years. I have tried so many products, ranging from the cheap stuff to the high end stuff. This stuff is the best. I won't lie and say that I come out of the shower streak free every time, because sometimes I definitely do. Is it the product itself? Probably not. Is it me? Most definitely, especially when I'm in a hurry. This comes with a latex glove that through me off at first because I am so use to the tanning mitts. TRY THE GLOVES. I hated the first time I used this because I was dead set on using my tanning mitts. The gloves work so much better!On a side note, this stuff smells sooo good! I don't mind using it on my face either because of how hydrating it is. Warning: Before you wash it off, it looks like it's going to just sink into your pores and make them dark. When you shower, it doesn't. so don't worry!Some Tips:-Obviously, shave and exfoliate! Always. Don't slack or it'll look gross.-Use the gloves it comes with!-Do small areas, don't try to do your whole arm at once or it'll be patchy AF-It will look better after you shower. If it looks darker in some areas upon application, don't worry, most likely it'll rinse off to look even!-Give it a few times. Try it out a couple of times. I guarantee that the first time you try this, it's not going to be anywhere near perfect. I have found the second time I do it, the overall tan looks better! Don't give up on it too fast. Once you perfect it, it'll be your favorite.-MAKE SURE to get your feet and hands completely. This is the hardest part for me, I still haven't perfected it 100 percent. Brilliant tan with a lovely colour. No bad smell and good on dry bits. You can put it on and go, but be prepared for a little transfer so wear dark clothes. Or put it on at night and wash the guide colour off in the morning. I have bought this product quite a few times now and adore it! Not only does it not smell bad, but fantastic!, it also goes on lovely and smooth.
