I have really sensitive skin and I use this moisturizer every night after my acne astringent application. I liberally apply like a face mask and allow to soak in my face, chin, and neck for an hour than I rub the remaining lotion in my face and remove excess. I read another review that suggested using as a face mask all night but my skin is too sensitive for that and after an hour I start becoming itchy and skin breakout happens because my pores become clogged, so I must rub in my face after an hour not leave on overnight and this does not happen.My face is initially shiny but by morning my skin glows. Without the lotion my skin is very dull and pale but with the lotion there is a healthy peaches and cream complexion to my face.Quite by accident I find this moisturizer helps with wind burn and winter chapped skin on the face that is common in Michigan winters. I have been using Oil of Olay for 35 years, and at 67, have almost no wrinkles. I have often tried to find a product that has moisturizer, sunscreen, doesn't cost a fortune, and is made of more natural/organic ingredients, but have never found that, so I stick with O of O. I have used crazy expensive scent free SPF products on my face and some really cheap knock off brands. All have their benefits and not so good characteristics. When I use a daily sunscreen (and I do) it is important to me that there not be a strong scent, that it absorbs easily, that it is not greasy, that it is not going to stain my t-shirt, that it not sting on my freshly shaved face, that it protects from the sun, and that it not be unnecessarily expensive. I have used Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Lotion and Cream forever. I started using it when I was a Freshman in College. I have flirted with the newer, more expensive, "Queen for a Day" brands but I always return to my Old Faithful Olay Sensitive Skin and Vit E Oil and Cream and my favorite supplement Brewers Yeast.
