Both the item I received, and the replacement item I received after the initial complaint I placed, looked like they were used or someone had already opened them. The cap of the top was scratched and the inside seal was already broken. The scoop spoon was dirty and even the seal of the box itself looked open. I wish I had read the negative reviews. I bought this after falling in love with Korean face care products that treated my stubborn cystic acne. I watched YouTube videos and reviews on websites for eye creams that help with dark circles and wrinkles. Now, I don’t have the worst wrinkles in the world around my eyes, I’m only 27, I mostly just wanted to prevent them getting worse, and maybe reduce their appearance. After much research, this was one of the most recommended products, a “cult favorite” if you will.Well I’ve only used it a few days, and I’m pretty sure this is a fake. It burns, the texture is odd (not what you would expect from snail slime...) and it has caused a few brakeouts around my eyes. Even worse, I think it’s actually making my fine lines WORSE in such a short amount of time.That’s when I got curious and returned to this page to look at some of the lower star reviews, and as it turns out, I’m not the only one with these complaints, leading me to believe this is a FAKE. This doesn’t seem like a quality product at all. I’m sure if I had received the real product I’d at least not be experiencing irritation, or worsening of the condition of the skin around my eyes. I’m discontinuing use and tossing it in the garbage. This has been a huge lesson to me to consider the poor reviews over the more positive ones while shopping for skin care products in the future. I suffered from a horrible skin condition starting in fall 2013, which different derms have referred to as dermatitis, eczema, etc. My eyelids became so dry and stiff that the inner corners cracked, and my eyes constantly looked bruised. I cut out many allergens, changed my detergent, etc. After multiple creams, prescription steroids and treatments with little relief, I ordered this cream. Within 2 weeks my eyelids had softened up and the reddish skin returned to normal. While the skin condition occasionally recurs (once a year), application of this eye cream usually soothes it or even gets rid of it entirely. I use a steroid cream very occasionally for serious flare-ups, but this is my holy grail product that I use both morning/night. I trust HelloCos, as other sellers have sold me ineffective or possibly fake versions.I believe this will help with wrinkles, as my thinning eyelids once developed an extra fold that made them look crooked as a result of my condition. My eyelid folds are basically normal again! I still have slightly crinkly skin around my eyes due to the damage, but far less than I should considering how bad my skin was. I most definitely received fake products! I ordered the set of both the eye cream and the all in one cream. They arrived in one boxed set. The exterior box was in good shape. However, both boxes for the two products inside had fingerprints on them, and o my one of the boxes was sealed.The eye cream box had a sticker seal, and when I opened the sealed box, the lid to the jar also had fingerprints all over it. There was a white seal under the lid also, making it appear to be the real product. The cream inside product inside was HIGHLY fragranced. This is a fragrance free product, but whatever was inside the sealed container had a ton of synthetic fragrance!The lid on the all-in-one cream was scratched up, and was not screwed on all the way. The reason is because there was there was a strange stretch seal inside the product, over top of the original seal, so the lid will no longer fit the jar. The seals on this cream were not the same type of seal that it’s sister product had in the same set. I didn’t even bother opening this cream to see what was inside, because I am returning the set due to the fake, dirty products inside.This was a lesson for me! I really love snail creams. I like this cream and it's great for my under eye bags and the dry patches that show up in the corners during the winter. I would have given it five stars if not for the tearing up. I imagine it's the same thing that many people are complaining about the burning from that causes my eyes to tear up a lot. I can only use this at night because if I use it in the morning people think I'm crying all day because I am literally producing tears that are rolling down my cheeks for hours. That being said I'm 30, I've been using this line for about 3 months and ...pics (no filter no makeup) are attached. I did have quite a few fine lines and discoloration along with some mild acne. Never in my life has my face been so balanced before using this line of products. This is probably the weakest product in the line but it's great as an overnight under eye cream. Read more
