Very cute. The material is soft and does seem well-made. Many commented on how lightweight it is. The comforter is lighter, however, the material can make your toddler quite warm. I found a solution of placing a cotton sheet instead of the matching one. It will keep him warm, but he won’t sweat like he did using all pieces. Very adorable set. It does glow once you allow the light to charge it enough. The only challenging piece is that I had to check on my son regularly due to how hot it made him. He was sweating horribly. Like I said, my solution to that was to place a cotton sheet in-between. I’d almost go as far as saying to forego the sheets from the set and do all cotton. The struggle to get my 3 year old to sleep in his own bed is real! However, like countless other preschool age boys, he is a hardcore "Thomas the train" fan. This train themed bedding set is exactly what I was looking for! It's bright, colorful, surprisingly soft and of course, full of trains:). My son was so excited about his new "Choo choo train bed" that he actually asked to sleep in his own bed and has continued to do so ever since.The sheets were already quite soft before washing and have held up to many washes (I don't dare put him to bed with different sheets yet). I bought this for my daughter's toddler bed and it fit perfectly! I haven't tried the fitted sheet yet (already have a space themed one that we prefer to the plain blue) but the comforter, flat sheet, and pillowcase are all great. The comforter is not too thick and yet not too thin which is all around ideal for us since we live in an area that is incredibly hot all year 'round. It feels very breathable and soft, definitely the kind of blanket you'd want to snuggle up with. She loves *anything* space-related and talks about "going to the moon" while getting tucked into her new bed set... it matches her room decor AND it's comfy and affordable-- I'd say it's a win! Absolutely adorable!!! My train enthusiast little guy LOVES his new big boy bedding and the colorful, cheerful train print is so, so cute! The fabric is soft and lightweight, and everything fits well. He doesn’t use the top sheet (flat sheet), so I had it made into a valance curtain and matching tie backs to go w/solid black curtains—perfect! I agree that the standard-size pillow case is an odd choice for toddler bedding, but we are using it as a decorative pillow and have provided him w/a more appropriate toddler pillow to sleep with, so it’s not really an issue. I was upset and disappointed and had started a return on this set, then decided to keep it because our little one likes it a lot. He loves astronauts. It is cute but it does not glow in the dark, which is the only reason I picked it over others available on Amazon and elsewhere. My toddler loves the imagery on this set. He was immediately drawn to the excavator, bulldozer and tractors. This is his first bedding set, before this we just had a few blankets and a bottom sheet in his crib. This set is helping him transition into a big boy bed. It is sized for a crib, but with a full-size pillowcase.I didn't give it 5 stars because of the material. It is soft, almost satiny. I think it will get very hot during the summer months. Right now for winter, it is fine. It's definitely not scratchy, so that's not the issue. It just isn't like typical sheets, almost too smooth. I bought a separate sheet set to go with it that is made out of cotton so that we could transition to that when the weather warms up. Read more
