I was looking for some 1" wide "vet wrap" rolls for my fingers and this item fits the bill. I have been experimenting with a fingertip-type pulse oximeter that's designed to operate continuously (my own screening for sleep apnea to see if it's worth looking into medically). To keep my fingertip device from sliding off during the night, a single roll of no-residue cohesive wrap was originally supplied but I wanted a few more rolls. This 6 pack is priced very reasonably and has been performing great. The Ever Ready Cohesive Wrap left no sticky residues left behind, has some measure of re-usability from day to day (when I carefully unwrap it), and it's very stretchy but durable.The 1" width is perfect for what I want to use it for on my finger, but may be on the narrow side if you're using the wrap as part of a larger bandage. I used this self-adhesive wrap to secure the band-aid plaster and to compress and protect the wounded area on my arm. A few days ago, I needed this tape again to dress an injury, and it held the dressing tightly. I confirm from my own experience that it is convenient in application and sticks to itself. The first-aid bandage stays in place on the skin securely. It is elastic, porous, and lets the injury breathe and heal. The tan color matches skin and makes the wrap unnoticeable. I've always been accident-prone, and I guess it's in the blood because my kiddos are too. So, I try to keep first aid stuff on hand. That includes this cohesive wrap. These smaller rolls are great for fingers, wrists, that kind of thing - pretty much any small area that needs a bandage wrapped. I had the misfortune of slicing off a good chunk on the side of my index finger with a rotary cutter, and this wrap came in pretty handy. It's easy to apply and it stays put. Best of all, it doesn't stick to anything other than itself. The smaller wrap won't do much for larger areas, but it's great for fingers and even taking care of small areas on pets. Read more

This cohesive tape has a bit different texture than others that I have used. It feels more like plastic and less like rubber or elastic. It still stretches and adheres like a quality cohesive tape though. It seems to also do even better at being reused without loosing the stickiness as quickly as others. I really like these wraps. They work so much better than using medical tape, especially on your pets. This doesn't stick to fur and doesn't pull their fur when removing. It also doesn't stick to our hair on our skin but it does stick to itself which is great! I have used this for a cut on my finger. It held the gauze on well and kept my wound clean. We like to have this self adhesive bandage tape as it sticks to itself more than you which allows it to stay on longer. We have even used this kind of tape on our dog when they need to be bandaged (gash on their large pad of their foot when we found them on our property) and it held up well and without ripping out their fur on removal.
