I was a huge fan of this moisturizer before they changed the formula recently. The new formula has a horribly strong scent! It reminds me of really strong perfume that you'd smell when your aunt or grandma hugged you when you were little? It's like that. It's bad enough that even though this is the only moisturizer that has helped my skin after I tried a dozen different kinds and researched for weeks, I will not buy it again.I did send a message to Etude House today asking them why they changed the scent and I'm curious if they'll respond. I have used this emulsion along with the moistful collagen moisturizer for a few years and have loved it. Except I noticed the last time I reordered both products were a completely different formula. I checked and made sure the seller was legitimate too and it seemed like it was. It now has an awful cheap rose water scent instead of its usual fresh scent which I love. The feeling after you apply the new formula is horrible as well. I don’t know how to describe it other than making my face feel greasy and wanting to wash it off. I tried to use it a few times to see if it would grow on me but all it did was leave my skin burning and red! I am so disappointed because I love this brand & their moistful collagen products. I've been using this specific emulsion for several years and have always loved it. It's very good for the price and the old formula also had a really pleasant, light scent to it.The new formula still works the same in moisturizing, but the new scent smells awful to me. It reminds me of those cheap scents they spray on certain dolls and children's toys to give them that chemically fake strawberry/berry/cherry smell that just smells too intense and overdone and not really good in any way. This stuff is amazing, if anyone was wondering an emulsion goes on BEFORE a moisturizer, so if you feel that this isn’t “hydrating enough” & have been using it as the last step in your skincare routine, that is probably why. I have combination dry skin, mostly dry & I put this on, then a face oil, & then follow with my moisturizer & it works WONDERS for me. I sometimes even put this on throughout the day when I’m about to reapply my sunscreen to get that extra little boost. I love this stuff, but couldn’t imagine using this on its own as a moisturizer. I live in a dry climate, I had not found a moisturizer that I felt like it actually felt beneficial. I love this etude moisture collagen!!! I had been layering facial toner and derma e moisturizer, I had tried a tinted moisturizer that I liked until they changed the formula (which stuffed up my sinuses), prior to when I started using the etude. The etude absorbs nicely and my skin feels a little dewy- in a good way...not like you have residue of oil. This is the first time I tried this product in addition to my skin care routine and I'm inlove! It's easy to apply all over the face and neck coz it's not heavy and thick. Packaging is good but man! You can't squish the bottle coz it's a hard plastic! I wish they made it squeezable so it's easy. It has a good scent which I think is fine. I use this though after my moisturizer and before spf in daytime. If you use the product correctly, you're not gonna have breakouts. Read more

This is the best light moisturizer as its not heavy at all, its super light weight, but so hydrating and makes you get a nice korean glow! Its a huge bottle for the price! Expires all the way in 2023. I definately recommend it! Read more

I cant believe how much of a screw up this is. This is supposed to be the same as the earlier version. The smell is abhorrent now. It just smells of chemicals and strong perfume, whereas before it had a slight and natural, WONDERFUL smell. WHY did they change it?????The formula is not as skin friendly as it used to be. this one is NOT good for sensitive skin.
