I have taken fish oil since 2005, when I was studying for the GRE and wanted a mental boost. I have taken it since then, and not only did I feel the mental boost, but I know I am healthier for it. This is basically fish oil from one fish: salmon. Many fish oil supplements are from a mix of smaller fish.Salmon oil isn't necessarily inherently better at supplying omega 3 fats versus other fish, although the oil may contain a little bit of astaxanthin, the healthy red pigment which gives salmon its color.It is good to see that this company is committed to the various "good practices" including good agricultural practices, which I assume means not over-harvesting fish in areas where there aren't enough.The only reason I took off a star is that the formula is kind of pricey compared to other fish oil supplements.
