I got these pills because I tried drinking golden milk (coconut milk and tumeric, basically) each night and it was more than I could really handle. These pills make it easy to get a daily dose of tumeric. I don't know if it actually helps my joints or immune system, but it seems like a decent natural option and doesn't hurt. I was a little disappointed that the pills are powdery and quite a few of them in the bottle were broken, but it's really not an issue as I take the broken ones anyway and feel like it's probably a good thing as it means there aren't as many additives and binders to hold the pills together.They seem like a great alternative to the golden milk that was unpalatable for me in the long term. I can deal with one more pill. In these days of COVID and all, anything that might boost the immune system and have a positive effect on my joints is good as far as I'm concerned. Update: As I opened the second bottle, I noticed that many of the pills were broken... between that and the recent scare with contamination of medicines manufactured in India, I am concerned and will not be ordering this brand again. I am lowering my recommendation, and my rating is dropping to the lowest that it can be... since that seems to match the quality control of this company.===Turmeric seems to be the next wonder supplement. It has been used to treat not only pain, but hay fever, depression, high cholesterol, fatty liver, osteoarthritis, and even itching. There are possible drug interactions with anti-coagulents and precautions if you are pregnant, are breast-feeding, have blood-clotting disorders, have cancer, have infertility issues, have an iron deficiency, or are planning to have surgery.While this product is within the normal dosage guidelines for long-term usage, it costs more than 2 times more than other major mainstream brands on Amazon. For some the organic label may matter, but I do not feel any difference when taking these.I am rating this three stars as it does its job. I take turmeric supplements daily to help with arthritis inflammation/pain. This is not one of my favorites. It's a tablet, rather than a capsule, and it's much harder for me to swallow since the tablet is rather large and flat (about 1/2 inch wide). It's thin, but the width of the tablet, plus the fact that it's not coated, makes it hard to get down even with a lot of water.The claimed "2 month" supply is misleading. Yes, it has 60 tablets in the bottle and if you take 1 per day it will last you 2 months. However, the potency is 450mg per tablet (plus 50mg of black pepper to aid in bioavailability). I need at least 1,000 mg per day for inflammation benefits, and ideally about 1,500 per day. Most turmeric supplements that are in the 500mg or so range per capsule usually recommend taking at least 2 per day. In fact, this one does state right on the bottle to take 1 tablet twice per day. Thus, based on the manufacturer's own dosage recommendation on the bottle, this is NOT a 2 month supply.On the plus side, it does come securely packaged. The bottle I received in February 2021 was packaged on Oct 2020 and has a best by date of Sept 2023. The product is made in India.I'll not factor in the 2 month claim into my rating, but even so, this is a 2 star product for me since it's much more difficult to swallow than a capsule. Read more
