These are super cute. I got the pink blossom ones and tried them for the first time today. While I’m not sure if they’ll leave a crease in my hair (will update later), they are a bit difficult for me to use. I have very fine, slippery hair and always have had problems with accessories slipping out. I usually wrap my hair ties 3 times, sometimes more for stretchier ones.In comparison I originally tried the invisibobbles (the ones that look like phone cords back when those were a thing). Since those are nice but still crease my hair, I decided to try these.Since my hair is so slippery I tried wrapping the tie three times. Doing so, I thought these might snap.Goody also has a hair elastic similar to these, so I’ll be trying those to see if they’re any different. But as much as I like the color, I’m not sure they won’t crease my hair since I had to wrap it so tight. Only wrapping twice makes it fall out of my hair in a few minutes. Read more

I purchased these Emi Jay hair ties in an effort to find the best hair ties for my curly hair. These were mentioned several times in my research, particularly this brand, as a top contender. It is a bit of a struggle to get the hair tie around my ponytail three times to keep it in place. It works better in a simple top knot situation for me. Regardless, in either scenario, these hair ties do pull individual hairs tight enough to cause an irritating discomfort. A hunt always ensues to loosen these single strands in an effort to relieve the pain. Taking them out causes the same discomfort.I give these hair ties 4 stars because, while not for me, they do feel well-made and sturdy. Because they are pricey, I will still likely get some intermittent use out of them but I won't be purchasing them again. Read more

I received these late yesterday, so first thing this morning I put my hair into a ponytail and use the emi jay hair tie. It is now noon, and the emi jay has not let my pony slip! I wrapped it around three times as two was a little bit loose. Only using this for a few hours, I'm impressed. I went back to amazon and ordered a brown ombré set as they were cheaper than the neon. I will update you with any problems. I just don't know for sure yet, as I've only had this in my hair for about 4 hours. But, so far so good, and I was impressed enough to order another set. Also, I forgot to let you know, these are stretchy. Oh, and the shipping was quick too. Read more

These are very pretty but the material get stretched out and frays easily and it looses its metallic sheen. I can still use them but the are priced too high IMO. Read more

I am SOOOOOO attached to these silly hair ties. I own every single color from every 5 pack! They are soft, they don't damage my platinum blonde hair and they are in irresistibly attractive colors. Not to mention, I am a huge fan of supporting women entrepreneurs!! The girls who launched Emi Jay are in their teens... great job girls! These simple hair ties actually solve a major problem - they do not damage hair, or bend blow outs, and they manage to look fashionable! Read more

Too small to wrap around twice for a ponytail. It is too big to use to hold your hair without wrapping twice. Read more

I have long, thick curly hair and these are the only thing that will hold my hair back. I still get a line in my hair from wearing them too long but that's not really avoidable with the mane of hair I have. Read more
