My favorite sunscreen of all time. I use this on my face, neck, arms daily. It never feels greasy and it always protects. My skin does not have that sunscreen cakey/sticky feeling throughout the day with this particular formula from Elta. I've tried other formulas from Elta that are formulated for the face, and I still always come back to this one.During the day when I wear make up, I use a daily moisturizer on my face first, then this sunscreen, then a primer and foundation and the combination never feels heavy on my face. In fact, if I use just my moisturizer and primer/foundation on my face without this Elta sunscreen, my face ends up much more oily at the end of the day.This is the only formula I've ever used that does not give me break outs! And I've tried many in the 15 years I've had to wear sunscreen daily due to Lupus.This bottle is expensive but it lasts a long time. With nearly daily application to face/neck/arms and extra applications during the summer at the pool etc. I replace this bottle about every 8 months according to my Amazon history.Also, I use it on my young daughter's face and she's never complained about it burning her eyes, not even after getting in the pool.I don't know what I would do without this! Awful texture. I’m not picky with my sunscreens. I love eltamd. Have used multiple products from them. I put this on and it left this weird texture on my hands. They felt like sandpaper. They felt so dry. I washed them 10 times and couldn’t get the texture of the sunscreen off of my hands. It doesn’t go away. I tried it multiple times and even waited patiently to see if the awful way it made my hands feel would go away.I don’t know what to compare it to other than getting chalk all over your hands and not being able to wash the chalk off.Also, a little transfer is okay but I put this on my arms one day while wearing black pants. I use this product to help maintain the longevity of my many tattoos, and it works amazing. It’s super easy to apply, doesn’t feel greasy, isn’t sticky, is NOT shiny and dries almost immediately upon application while lasting the whole day. It’s helped my tattoos look almost as great and fresh as the first day that I got them. Price can be a little expensive, unless you catch them on sale *cough cough* but definitely worth it because even with everyday use, one container easily lasts about a year. I've bought this same product for several years and have been pleased with the sun-block itself; however, THIS unit won't allow the pump to release more than just a tiny, pea-sized amount of product! My daughter recommended this product to me after her dermatologist suggested it to her. I've had several facial procedures to remove precancerous skin areas, plus a basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. I have never used a product that I feel more confident in. I get extra protection from the micronized zinc oxide. I've never had an issue with a white film or residue left after application. EltaMD lasts the entire time I'm on the golf course for 4 hours 200+ days a year. Of course, wear a hat and have an umbrella over your push cart! I love this product. Initially, a doctor recommended it and sold it to me at his office. Then I found a larger quantity available on Amazon for a less expensive price. What I like about this product is that it serves as a lotion for the face and a sunblock. Plus it is a complete sunblock and disappears without a trace on my face. I have extremely sensitive skin. The slightest hair tug while shaving, my face breaks out in red, itchy bumps which seem to last for weeks and keep regenerating -- that kind of sensitive.I had tried many different treatments, some very expensive, but none worked. Then came Elta Md. I praise it for being the only thing to give me peace of mind. Having red, itchy skin is embarassing and uncomfortable. Because of the zinc oxide ingredient, and everything else this product contains, my face hasn't had the problem it used to in years. My routine now is to rinse my face several times with hot water (opens up the pores; loosens the facial hairs), shave, wash with Clean & Clear, then splash my face with cold water (to shock my pores into closing). Finish with Elta Md. Also, I will go a week or two without shaving, just so a razor isn't touching my flesh on too regular a basis: the more often I shave, the greater my risk of breaking out.Amyway, I've been doing the above for several years now and I will continue doing so for the rest of my life. Very good product. I have oily to combination sensitive skin, and to me, this product is not greasy, leaves no white cast, and no irritation.But pls be alert that the expiring date can be quite near. I bought an 85g one in April and the expiring date is March 2023. Today I got another 198g one, also from Amazon, the EXP date is July 2022. I don't even know whether I can finish such a huge bottle before it expires because I also have several other sunscreens in usage. If you have several sunscreens on the go at the same time as I do, probably just buy the smaller one. Read more
