This is the new tall cosmetic organizer bag from Ellis James Designs that I wanted to try. I have the original cosmetic organizer bag and love it so much I wanted to give this one a spin as well. I loved the idea of being able to put my eyeshadow palettes, blush palettes and brushes in the top part of the bag and all the stand up bottles and things in the bottom part of the bag. I didn't realize how much I would love having this option and I have only been using it daily at home. I love how it keeps me organized a little bit better with the separate compartments. This makeup organizer bag is a little taller and not as wide as the other makeup organizer which is why it allows for taller bottles like foundations bottles to stand up if you want them to. I love that it is compact but holds the same amount of items as the other organizer.I also love the addition of the clear flap they put in to cover the brushes in the top portion. It keeps them separate from all the other things in the bag so no getting things dirty! This is something I knew I was going to love!There are two mesh pockets and a zip pocket in the main section of the bag. These come in very handy for those small items like eyeliner, smaller brushes, lip stick etc. Really anything that is small and usually just floats around in the bag. The two side mesh pockets make it very convenient for just grabbing what you need and eliminated the digging around that I am so use to doing!This bag is going to be amazing for travel as well. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this travel bag! First of all, it’s gorgeous and has a very high-end look to it. I was so impressed with how it looked when I received it. It was nicely wrapped in sealed paper inside its own box, which was also sealed with a plastic bag. I definitely felt like I was receiving a high-end bag!Second of all, this travel bag is extremely practical and meets all my needs. Before I purchased this bag, I was using two separate cosmetic bags- one for brushes and one for makeup. I love how this bag has two zippered compartments so that brushes and cosmetics can stay separate. When you invest money in your makeup brushes, you want to keep them nice, and this bag certainly helps accomplish that! It even has a clear vinyl guard for your brush tips to protect them and keep them from rubbing on the inside of the bag. Love this feature!The large main compartment has plenty of room for your cosmetics plus some. I love the two mesh side pockets for storage, plus the zippered pocket! I like to store my mascara upright, and it is perfectly held in place by the mesh. The zippered pocket would be a great place to store bobby pins or pieces of jewelry like rings and earrings. The depth of the main compartment is deep enough to store my daily moisturizer bottle upright, and if I want to store my nail polish bottles, they too will fit upright!Overall, I am very impressed with this travel bag and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to store their cosmetics on the go or even just at home! When I received this (extremely) large cosmetic bag in the mail last week, at first I was skeptical of how large it was, until I started filling it up with all my beauty products. Its literally the BEST bag I've ever used! Its so large and filled with tons of organization. It'll make for the perfect traveling companion as to holding everything I will need and then some. The top is perfect for all my brushes and smaller beauty products such as; bronzer, eye shadows, concealer, etc. And the bottom is perfect for my larger products like moisturizer, eye cream, etc. The bottom half of the bag also has three side pockets, perfect for holding jewelry or other delicate items (even feminine products). My old Lancombe wash bag finally gave up the ghost and I had almost given up hope of finding a decent replacement when I stumbled on this.It is very roomy. I put my make up in the top compartment and everything else in the bottom. Ignoring jokes about how many products I take on holiday, it was great to be able to take everything I need and all the things I want to take "just in case"Sturdy and roomy ..... what else do you need? I purchased this bag to store my led nail lamp and it’s perfect for this use. I looked a long time for a bag that was big enough and had separate compartments. The main compartments has handy side pockets inside and the top opening can be used for all sorts of smaller things. Bag is really good quality and stands firm and does not collapse. For me it was well worth the price and is something I can keep for a long time. Read more
