This was the first Arden lipstick I have ordered in this color and the first Arden lipstick ordered that arrived (1) in an attractive tube (gold tone) and (2) was not broken or damaged at the base. I pre-ordered the MAC Selena version of this color that never arrived. I was happy to find the actual color she wore, besides the Chanel color that was discontinued many years ago, with this color. It appears more brown in the tube but a lovey red color when applied. Read more

I have been wearing the Brick Red flavor on my light German and Welsh complexion, and this stuff is a sharp attention getter. The color is very bright and brilliant. Once I put this stuff on it stays as long as I need it. I have never worn it long enough to have it wear off, but I easily get 4-5 hours regularly during the day before pulling it off to eat or drink; I just don't like getting it all over everything. The case is shiny metal and heavy duty, you could probably run over it with a smart car and not smash it. I see from the photo that this rose aurora is not a shiny one. From the photo, I see a very lovely rose aurora. I looked forward to receive it excitingly. After I received, I could not be more regretful as it is a shinny one, and the color is just close to Rose Aurora. I will not use it. Not recommend to buy it. Read more

Yes this lipstick is expensive. But it conditions your lips, stays on for hours, has such an amazing application. When my lips are dry and chapped, it covers up the problem whereas other high-end lipsticks fail. Read more
