I wanted to like this so much, but the fragrance is way too strong, I tried to see if the color was a good match but I couldn't even wait I had to scrub it off my wrist because it was so strong. I get migraines from fragrances and other things, so this had to go back. If you aren't bothered by scents then may be a good foundation, I didn't get to try it on my face. I am 47 and of course don't want to accentuate any fine lines or wrinkles! But I do like a full coverage foundation! Elf is my go-to this one was a little light for my complexion but I just bought another bottle to mix in with this! I love the way it wears I love how light it feels and I love how at the end of the day it looks just like it did when I first put it on! Works terrific over the putty primer on my large pore areas angry over the nyx marshmallow primer as well! Doesn't oxidize doesn't dry out the skin! I could go on and on! Read more

I actually really like this foundation. I wanted enough coverage to even out the red blotches on my cheeks. Which if you look at the picture you see it did just that. But it's not such a full coverage that my freckles don't come through. I always wanted to show that it sits on the skin nicely and doesn't lay on the skin in such a way that it enhances your pores. I wanted to add that I am a glasses wearer and noticed it was kind of rubbing off after a while. With that said I did not use any primer or setting spray this time so that may change that. Buy this! It's such a great product for the price! I have textured, combination skin that is also pretty red and this honestly just makes my skin look so much better! It doesn't get patchy, it goes on easily and covers well. I'm using it to cover up any redness and blemishes, and very happy with it - it really does make my skin look so much better and doesn't highlight any texture (I'm not saying it's fully magical and makes my skin look airbrushed, but it does look amazing). I don't necessarily 'wear- test' it but I don't feel like I have to reapply throughout the day (working from home, for what it's worth) which is also great for me because I usually do feel like I have to reapply often! I really wanted to love this because I’m a big fan of elf products, but I just can’t get over the smell of it. It’s kind of reminiscent of baby powder, which some may love, but I can’t stand. Even my husband asked me why my face smelled “weird”.😒 Not exactly the reaction you want when you’re using a product to feel more attractive. Also it felt really heavy on my face, like I had a film on. These are my own preferences and experiences. I purchased this product for our Halloween costumes for 2021. I was impressed by how well it held up under some very trying conditions. We used silicone masks that will leave you sweating profusely within minutes of putting them on. Not only did this concealer hold up, it lasted for several hours of vigorous activity. I did prepare by using multiple layers on the exposed areas of my face. At the end of the evening, it came off easily with a quality makeup remover. The product itself is good for the price, consistency is a little too thick for my taste. But overall it isn’t bad. You get what you pay for so the finish looks a little heavy/caked even if you apply a little. Also it doesn’t last very long and creases/cracks like crazy! would have given it 3 stars but I dropped one for the shade range and for lack of ease availability of the full range. It's actually quiet good. I have been using my NYX foundation for a long time and I still believe that's the one for me but I thought I would try something a bit cheaper because one has to save for the future etc, Then when I received Elf, I realised that it's just half the size the normal foundation but still good price. Actually surprised by this. Thought it would be on the thin side, but it's actually quite thick and gives good coverage. 20ml is a bit on the small size, but okay for the price. Feels light on my skin but it stays on and looks pretty good all day. Not cakey - using with a dry brush and it goes on nicely. Plenty of colours in the range to choose from. The only drawback for me is that it's slightly fragranced and I would prefer that it wasn't. It's not unpleasant or too strong, but not used to using a fragranced foundation any more. Very disappointed. Though I'd managed to select the right shade, I found the foundation didn't spread well despite using a good quality primer. It made my skin look dry which it definitely isn't, and just stuck in any creases. Won't be buying again. Read more

after using i realised i got sent the satin finish foundation rather than the flawless finish foundation, even though the flawless finish is pictured. So keep in mind its not the product that is pictured (the bottles say different things so im unsure its the correct product). Only realised after using so cannot return. Read more
