I bought this for my first great-granddaughter and it did not disappoint. It's so delicate looking and the perfect gift for a newborn's keepsake box. Although it's not a Bible that one would carry and use all the time, but more of a keepsake Bible, and it is definitely a Bible she can carry with her in her wedding bouquet. I plan on having the cover of the Bible monogrammed with her name on it and giving it to her at Christmas this year 2020. The box that it is enclosed in is quite nice too. Very sturdy and resembles a book with a see-through top so you can see the coverlet for The Bible. It stays closed so nicely that I'm thinking it may have a magnet in it to keep it closed that well. I am so thrilled that I purchased this Bible. It's just a very precious gift. The font is small but even at my age I had no problem reading the words. The words of Christ are not in red though. There is a nice little bookmark that tells the buyer how The Bible begins as a special gift for a special baby then it's there when that baby becomes a bride one day and carries it in her wedding bouquet.
