I have my own teeth. I had read by another reviewer that she used this for sanitizing things. I took the ball and ran with that one. LOVE that idea!1st I used it to clean my make up brushes.2. I clean my toothbrush and tongue cleaner.3. To clean my electric tea kettle. If water sits in it bacteria grows and it seems to always have some water left in it. It cleans up the mineral deposits caked on and makes me feel better about being clean again.4. I clean our vaporizer with it.5. I have polished up jewelry unharmed and does it shine! Earrings need to be cleaned!6. I clean my flower vases. I get fresh flowers often from the farmers market. I love that!! It is bacteria in the water (mostly from rotting leaves) that make the flowers go bad quickly. Tip....add about an inch or even two of bleach to the water!! Sounds like it would kill the flowers quickly but they stay fresh for a good two weeks that way. I clean the vase after with Efferdent. I used Polident Tablets for Partials tablets for years, but GlaxoSmithKline stopped making them, and the aerosol foam product they replaced it with is very expensive and completely useless for stain removal. So I confirmed with my prosthodontist that Efferdent tablets were safe for partials, then bought a box of the tablets to try. The bottom line - I am completely happy with this product! It is more cost effective than the Polident tablets, and it does an excellent job of stain removal. Goodbye Polident, hello Efferdent! Read more

I have used efferdent for years for my dentures. I don't know what happened with this box, but there was something definitely wrong. I noticed a nasty taste to my dentures for a strip of tablets, but didn't think anything about it, just figured I didn't rinse them enough. Then I opened the next strip and there was a horrible odor, so bad that it filled my bathroom. I kept checking and after a few strips, just threw it all away. I don't know if there is an expiration date, a bad batch or some kind of product tampering, but I won't be using efferdent again. Read more

Says new and improved with more oxi clean action. I had this brand before, but now it is unusable. Total chemical taste of the bite guard no matter how much you rinse it. I don't know what they changed but this cannot be healthy and is also super unpleasant to have the guard in your month and you feel like you are eating the remnants of the pill. I wish I read the reviews instead of blindly ordering assuming this was the same product I had been using before - it is not. This stuff is FOUL. The horrible smell and taste linger to the extend that even soaking my night guard for half an hour in water after (forget just rinsing) did nothing to remove them. Not to mention such a powerful aftertaste makes me wonder if I am ingesting dangerous chemicals every time I use this! I finally decided to go the Listerine solution route on a nightly basis and only use this once a week for a deep clean, followed immediately by the Listerine soak which seems to be the only way to get rid of the stench. This product not as shown, it is not the wonderful former efferdent tabs that worked so well for me for so many years. It's the new "improved" version which smells awful, leaves a bad aftertaste on dentures and which swelled up my tongue. This product is DANGEROUS. The instant I opened a packet, a poisonous vapor filled the air. It was overwhelming. The vapor burned the inside of my noise, and the smell was overbearing. This can't be safe. And since there is no ingredient information on the box, you have no idea of what chemicals are fulling the air. Fantastic for cleaning out Hydroflasks and coffee mugs! Just fill them up with water, drop in a few tablets, and leave for a few hours or overnight. Worked really well, and these tablets are much more cost effective than the ones marketed to clean water bottles. Read more
