I have thick 4c hair, and this is a perfect moisturizer! I used about 2 spoons of this, some aloe Vera gel, honey, cocnut oil, tea tree oil, and peppermint oil as a deep conditioner and it made a huge difference from when I use all those products by themselves. I have very long virgin 2C hair and I have used this once a week for 5 weeks. I'm disappointed as this was recommended by the website Naturally Curly and I usually trust their recommendations. I feel like it dried out my ends pretty badly, didn't help clump or define, and really didn't moisturize well at all. The scent is light and delightful, a classic coconut sweet smell. This is one of my favorite conditioners besides shea moisture manuka line. I usually mix with olive oil and microwave for 20 seconds then apply heat. It made my hair feel buttery. I would highly recommend for 4C ladies. Read more

I bought this product after reading great reviews about it on natural hair forums. Sadly it didn't work at all on my 2B-2C, low/medium porosity hair. Coconut and Shea created havoc on my hair and left is dry (hay like) and stringy.
