I really liked this when I first got it in august but after less than 2 months of use in the shower there is now a black substance growing under the scrubbing part on the bamboo. Washes well. Has the longest handle I have found. I only wish the handle was several inches longer, maybe 4" or 5" longer... We older folks aren't as flexible as we used to be! It has lasted pretty well, though the pouf is unraveling from its moorings. I was looking to replace our older back brushes and could not find anything long enough and with a large enough loofah. This has both. And it's about half the price of the others. After about a month of use, each one started to grow black mold where the loofah and wood meet. I always rinsed this out throughly and hung it up in the shower after every use with the bathroom fan running, but still wasn't enough to stop the mold. Maybe drying it with a towel and hanging it up in a dry air circulated environment might stop the mold, but that's a little of a hassle for me. If you want this to last for more than a month, I would find something else. Other than that, they're great if you're diligently replacing your loofah every month. I like this but in all honesty, the poof is so insanely soft that I don't feel like it's actually doing anything other than wiping soap on my back. No scrubbing action at all. If you're looking for something super soft and fluffy this is perfect. I just was looking for something with a little more "scrub" to it, and I'm not one to complain about much. These brushes are so well made and will last longer than the ones that just have a loofah stuck on and end up going all loose after time these are built to last a bit longer thats for sureI hope they will be around for awhile but just in case might buy another 2 to make sure we have a spare! Bought these after having to replace the crappy $1 store brand one I had that was made of plastic and snapped in two while I was washing my back. Cheap plastic. These are made of woof and the scrubber is actually much better. 10/10 would recommend. Read more

This was a great purchase, slightly more expensive than the plastic back scrubbers I had been buying at the local store, but much more sturdy. The handle is light weight but solid, and I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and the pouf is still very secure. Really happy with it! Read more
