This is my second Ecotools Foam Applicator. The first one worked out very well for me lasting me over a year with proper care. Foam is very soft and has two sides to help apply better, one side is flat while the other is round. The foam does not soak up too much foundation nor waste any foundation. This brush works great for under eye concealer and overall foundation blending. Its easy to use and a good size as well. I recommend this brush to anyone. Read more

I have tons of different sponges, Beauty Blender, RT, Anastasia, m2uNYC and so on. I bought this little kit bc it was on sale and I love these sponges. The grey sponges are very soft when wet and absorb way less product than BB, and they give a glassy smooth foundation application. They are also perfect for blending and moist powder application. The green wedges are great for concealer under the eye, the texture is softer than the grey and they absorb more product but I wouldn't use for foundation so I don't really care. Lastly, I LOVE the little brush cleaner that comes with the set. It's fragrance free and doesn't have a harsh detergent smell that sticks to your hands which some fragrance free cleaners have, and it even has a silicone cleaning pad in the tin. Read more

I usually really like eco tools blenders, but this one seemed very porous. It just absorbs all the product I try to blend around. By the time I get to concealer the sponge is insanely saturated with product and becomes increasingly hard to use. I typically use my blenders dry, but since it takes in so much product it needs to be cleaned after every use, and the holes and pores in the sponge only get bigger when wet. It’s not bad for the price, but I would definitely grab one of eco tools other sponges before this one. Read more

This is a great value set: inside you'll find 4 sponges (2 green and 2 grey), a travel case for the sponges, a cleaner. The box is styled as a Christmas gift.I loved the fact that the package didn't contain any plastic wrap.Both sponges are very soft, with the green a little bit softer.As shown in the picture, when you remove the sponges from the box, they all have some lines. That won't affect the performance of the sponge (at least it didn't happen with me).The travel case hase some holes for ventilation. Read more

It gets into the tiny corners around the nose and eyes really well... the shape is perfect for any application with foundation. I admit, I use it for my primer too. I don’t see as much sponge stealing the product, as my other makeup sponges/blenders. It looks denser. So I use it dry. It’s on the small side, but that’s another part of why it works so well. It’s not super soft. It doesn’t clean easily and when you do clean it, it rips off of the brush handle. It also sucks up my foundation a lot, so it wastes product. Gave up on using this for an Aesthetica blending sponge, which is much better, and a lot cheaper Read more

Recommended for contouringThis is a good quality brush from Ecotools. Like other brushes in the range it has a nice handle to grip whilst using. The only real downside with a foam brush is it is quite wasteful if used for liquid foundation application. I will be sticking to the foundation brush and use the foam applicator for contouring instead. Due to the design of the brush with a large flat surface and domed shape it is much better for contouring than foundation application. Read more
