I did a lot of research on diapers and was determined to get the most chemical-free ones for our baby.Andy Pandy seemed like the best option. I was willing to take the blame for poo spills out the side and overlook the night-time leaks in order to avoid chemicals. In the end, however, these diapers caused a diaper rash that just wouldn't go away. It seems the liner of the diaper, which sits on baby's skin, isn't effective in keeping baby dry. Just because it's made of aloe doesn't mean much. We went through probably about 12 packs of these.Honest Diapers were flimsy. We didn't even get through a pack—they just weren't worth it.Naty was interesting. I didn't mind the papery texture. BUT they leaked regularly at night, soaking baby's clothes and sheets. During the day they were fine, and they also kept poos in check (no spillage). I did find, however, for really big poos, the edges of the diapers seemed nearly saturated (again, papery texture...).Bambo (the original version in the green, I haven't tried the white packaged one) have been the best. No leakage, no poo spillage, no diaper rash. Winner! Also, I recommend TruKid eczema cream. That helped heal the very raw diaper rash that we had with the Andy Pandy diapers! Read more

Manufactured in China. There was an overwhelming chemical smell from the diapers when first opened. I let them air out for weeks and they still smell a bit. Not sure if the smell is from the manufacturing process or from the ingredients. We have continued to use this bag of diapers. They do well keeping the poop in but the urine seems to leak through the front of the diaper making the outer surface wet to the touch. Once this bag is finished we will save our money next time.***UPDATE***After the owner contacted me, I decided to give these another try. She refunded my order and sent me a replacement for free. The replacement pack was normal, no chemical smell and held waste good. We are satisfied with these diapers and how the owner handled this. I am changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because of her attention to customer service. I wish there were more people with this type of generosity in the world. Read more

2 stars for being chemical-free, etc. They are very soft diapers. I cannot recommend them due to the fact that they leak every single time my baby poops. Every. Single. Time. I thought maybe I was putting them on the wrong way, not making them tight enough, or they were too big. No. It was not user error. I am done with these diapers after yet another blowout. It isn't worth it.Edit: I just want to add that I ordered these 3 times so I did give them a fair chance. Read more

Me and my wife absolutely love these diapers! We have tried many other brands including Pampers Swaddlers, Huggies Little Snugglers, Earth's Best, Babyganics and Honest Company diapers. Andy Pandy by far are our favorite! Pampers have a plastic feel to them and obviously have A LOT of SAP ( that gel stuff) in them and also have that net-like upper layer. Huggies are a bit softer but just don't fit right around the thighs and leak all the time. Babyganics and Earth's best run a bit small and have a paper feel to them even though they are definitely better for the baby. They just don't stretch. So it seems they are uncomfortable for him. Honest Company diapers are very cute and offer different patterns. They stretch better and are slightly softer than Babyganics and Earth's Best. However, we felt that they still were a bit stiff and paper-like. They also don't have a wetness indicator. Now, the Andy Pandy diapers are perfect. They are so silky soft both on the outside and inside. The company uses bamboo which is why they are so soft. Our son gets diaper rush pretty often from the non-green diapers but never got diaper rush while using Andy Pandy. These diapers are also green and great for the environment because bamboo is a very sustainable source. The Andy Pandy diapers are plain white which we actually like a lot. They look very classy. They have a yellow strip that runs down the middle and turns blue/green when wet.The side tabs and the back panel are very stretchy which allows to get a very snug fit. Our son is 2 months old and the small size fits him well now at 11-12lbs and probably will fit him for the next 2 months as well. It would have been good from probably about 9lbs. The only thing is if you want to use it on a 6-7lb newborn, it may be a bit big. However, it is very soft and stretchy so you may be able to get a snug fit. Regardless, I heard that the company is planning to start making a size extra small that would be perfect for newborns. As far as the dryness and the absorbency, our son sleeps for 6 hours straight at night now and at times he would only wake up for a quick 10 minute breastfeed and goes back to sleep. So one time we left the diaper on for 10 hours because he fell back asleep and we didn't want to wake him up. Well, when we changed the diaper in the morning, my wife touched the inside of the diaper and it felt completely dry and oh very soft. No leaks, no gel coming out of the diaper - just soft and dry.Dear Amazon, please start offering Andy Pandy on subscribe and save. We know they are fairly new but we would not join the Amazon Mom program otherwise. Andy Pandy is the only diaper we would want to subscribe to. Read more

First, I have been looking for a diaper that makes me feel less guilty about throwing diapers into landfills that are not biodegradable. It took me awhile. I found Andy Pandy diapers snd I usually go for made in the usa, but I read up on the company and I admired the story of a strong start up. I got a size a little bigger than I wanted so I can see where some of the reviews where there are complaints may arise from the size you chose to try. I got a smaller size the 2nd time and was even more pleased. They fit nice, have not had a leak and they are great over night. They absorb so well. They are also very soft. I appreciate the wetness indicator as well. Maybe the issue is that they may not work as well on babies under 18m? I started using these when my little guy was 1.5 and we fell in love. They are a bit pricey and its sad because it would be great if more could afford them and that in turn would benefit the environment but doing businesd in the USA is not cheap. Perhaps consider other lower end options to put out there? Thank you. We love these diapers. Would be nice to see them with a subscribe option. Happy to answer questions as well. Read more

I love that these nappies are made of bamboo (very sustainable and easy to grow without chemicals) they are soft and mostly do a very good job. We otherwise use the Naty nappies, and these compare very well. They are softer and more comfortable. They have an indicator to show when they are wet. The only downside is that they seem to degrade a bit when they have been wet for longer than is ideal. Obviously we should all be changing our baby's nappy when it is wet or dirty, however there are times the cheeky hobbits will do a stealth poo and you won't notice for a while. This has only happened once to us but my husband said the nappy fuzzed up and made changing my boy tricky. Overnight it can also be a problem as once it it wet the nappy's integrity weakens over time. We are now using these during the day and the Naty nappies at night. The xl seems to be a size 5. I really wanted to be more eco friendly with nappies for my new baby and bought washable, however they just didn't fit when my baby was small so I looked for an eco friendly alternative to standard disposable nappies in the meantime. I bought these and while they fit ok, have a colour change wet strip and are made from sustainable materials, they still end up in landfill like any disposable. They are also super expensive compared to standard disposables and overall I felt it wasn't worth the extra cost. They were much better than the most widely available eco disposable, so if that is the route you want to go down then these would be a good option. Read more

These are the best diapers we have tried so far, compared to Naty and Beaming baby from the eco-friendly group and Pampers and Puffies from the non eco-friendly. They are really soft and very silky, unlike other diapers. They have the colour indicator line, which is helpful and many other brands don't offer that. They have not caused any skin irritation and redness to our baby, unlike our experience with Naty. We loved using them and at the same time feeling that we are being considerate to the planet. Soft, absorbent, very good nappies. Size wise my 6 months old is around 7kg and Medium fits well however I can see we need to go to the next size when he is around 8kg.I used to use Moltex but the quality of Moltex become worse, such as tape not closing well and sizes have changed.I am ordering Andy Pandy nappies again. This is the third brand we have tried. While the others leaked consistently we have had no problems with these. They fit well and have a visible strip to detect wetness. Will be buying in bulk. Read more
