I used these on my toddler for quite some time without ever noticing a problem, until I used them on myself and noticed a burning on my bottom. I thought it was just me, but after a couple different packs I realized something was wrong with the wipes. My mom pointed out that my little girl's butt area was all red, bright red and I thought it was the soap we were using. I eliminated everything and it was still red. Then I stopped using these wipes on her and the redness is totally gone now. I think there's an ingredient in them that is causing the sensitivity. I won't be using them again. Read more
I have never once written a review for a product (I have good intentions to but no time) but this one I must write. Most things I buy from Amazon I am very happy with - but as for this product: DO NOT BUY THESE NATY WIPES!!!! As other people have said THEY BURN YOUR SKIN!!! Once my daughter was finally able to articulate her issues with the wipes (as we started potty training her before she could really voice her concerns) she told us that they HURT HER BUTT!!! I tried them after I understood her issues and found that I had the same issues! (And I don't have sensitive skin). I'm now feeling horrible that I used them on her for so long before I understood the problem. Bought in bulk and many went to waste - considering I threw them out as soon as I discovered this. The company should be ashamed of themselves. Read more
These wipes seemed like the more responsible option given their claims of being more biodegradable, etc. However that’s worth nothing when they caused contact dermatitis and burned my skin. The first formulation was fine but for some reason the new (2018) formulation is very skin reactive. Be careful with these, or your sensitive parts will be on fire for weeks!!! Read more
If you're looking for teeny tiny wipes, that shred and fall apart when you pull them out of the package, then these are for you! I got the true flushable version. I really wanted to be eco-conscious, but these are f'n ridiculous! No burning issues, but you can't get just one out of the package. You will at minimum grab 2 stuck together every time, which isn't that terrible because you will likely need 2, as they are sized for Keebler elves. We used cloth wipes for my kids during the diapering years. I cannot even fathom how useless these would be cleaning up an explosive poo on a baby butt! You'd need have the package! So enjoy paying the high price tag for what is actually half the # of wipes, since you will be using a minimum of 2 every time. And that's IF you can get them apart without shredding! Read more
Paid 2.5x more than my regular wipes for these due to the COVID TP panic and I wish I wouldn't have. The wipes themselves are fine but honestly, how hard is it to create a wet wipe? My problem is the packaging. You cannot just pull out 1 or 2 wipes with these, you end up pulling out a clump, no matter how hard you try, and have to try to stuff the rest back into a small hole afterwards. All with dirty hands. I can't wait until we are done with these wipes. They are such a joke. Maybe focus a little less on the hippie labeling and more time engineering a wipe that can be removed 1 at a time. I never have had this issue with any other sanitary wipe. Read more
Okay, so these are smaller than other wipes. However, they perform. They are thick and strong, as well as soft. They dispense easily from my OXO dispenser (more easily than most!!). They aren’t scented. I only have to use more than 1 wipe with really big poops…no more than other bigger wipes. They’re cheaper than most eco-friendly wipes. And most importantly, they don’t irritate my daughter’s sensitive skin. The only downside is the size, but that isn’t a big problem. Also, the package is small, so that’s a lot of extra plastic. If there were issues in the past, the manufacturer has certainly resolved them. My guess is someone was selling old wipes. Who knows. Certainly worth a shot if you want disposable wipes that degrade faster and are more eco-friendly. Read more
These are not baby wipes, they are 'toddler' wipes, and are smaller and drier than the baby wipes. (The image shown when I ordered them was the baby wipes package.) They also don't say compostable anywhere on the package. This is a marked difference from Naty's products, I used their compostable diapers and compostable wipes when my son was a baby so I assumed these would also be compostable. They are not. And they aren't a very good wipe, a big clump comes out at a time, and they are quite dry. Read more
I really wanted to like these. My son has been using them for a couple years and he never complained about them. Once my daughter started potty training we used these on her. She ended up breaking out in a huge rash all over her underwear parts. I tried them out and just like everyone else said they do burn. Very disappointed. We will stick to the water wipes and toss them in the garbage since there are no natural, non burning or non rash causing flushable wipes. Read more
