These are very good latches and can withstand a 1 year old pulling hard on them. The nice thing for grandparents is that when the kids go back home, you can flip the switch from Lock to Unlock and have free access to all those dangerous chemicals under the sink - or get free access to that candy carousel (lazy susan).It was a little tricky installing the components in the right location, but as long as you don't press the parts down hard to start with and test each one, it is possible to remove a poorly positioned latch or catch using constant pressure to unstick it. Those glue pads stick hard!There was a plastic guide that came with the kit, but I couldn't figure out how to use it, or get it out of the plastic bag as it was stuck with static. I like the packaging because it arrived in a nice, strong plastic packaging that you couldn't damage the product even if you tried. Everything pictured was in place. 12 of the locks and 2 keys, assuming one per each parent. Having browsed and researched through nearly every similar product here, this is by far the best deal. Feels like you get a lot for the money. Anyways, installation was so easy; don't know how anyone can have a problem with it. Made from good and sturdy 3M tape that seems to be holding up just fine with my 2 year old. Couldn't ask for a better product. It works as advertised and came in a timely manner! I'm giving these 5 stars because the installation and concept is 5 stars, hands down. IF you have cabinets that don't have scalloping or thick trim, they'll work just great.The issue we have in our home with our cabinets is that we have scalloping on our cabinets and the wood is too thick to trigger the magnet. The magnet is SUPER strong, but just not strong enough to trigger the lock.I WISH they worked for our home! If we re-do our cabinets, I'd use these again HANDS DOWN. Read more

I've been looking into baby proofing my drawers/cabinets and came across this product on the web. I didn't really want to drill any holes into my dressers/cabinets, so the adhesive option looked appealing. The packaging of the product itself was really bad. It came partly opened and the items were scattered around the box. I reached out to the company and they were really quick to respond and address my issues. They informed me that they were aware of the poor packaging and had already updated their packaging. Unfortunately, I received one of the last batches from the old packaging. The company was really nice and helpful and addressed all of my concerns. They event went above and beyond what I had expected since I was having issues mounting it to a recessed drawer that did not have enough real estate to mount the catch to the dresser frame. I'm hoping the suggestion they provided will work out for me for that setup.However, for the normal drawers and cabinet setups, the magnet locks worked perfectly! The adhesive is easy to put on and mount it to where you need it. It really works best on cabinets and non-recessed drawers. It did work for some of my recessed drawers where I had enough space to mount it to the frame of the dresser, so I am hoping the workaround will work for my needs.Overall, the product is great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to baby proof their dressers/cabinets. I'll be buying more if I find more places where I need to baby proof.**UPDATE**The workaround provided by the company worked great! I’ve attached a photo of how I had to set it up to work with my dresser drawer. The top frame was too thin to put the catch on there. It hit the drawer when I closed it. They provided me this workaround where I mounted a wooden block to the inside of the frame so I could attach the catch to that. I did not have to screw anything down. Just used adhesive tapes. The drawer works perfectly with the lock and striker plate now. The level of customer service I received went well beyond my expectations. I love this type of lock because they’re invisible from the outside but this brand is garbage and don’t stay stuck to your cabinets. One pull from your kid and they fall off which defeats the purpose of childproofing your cabinets. Also, they don’t work with the majority of my drawers because of the height clearance they need from the frame. If you have lots of cabinet doors to lock, this style works but pay a little extra and get the Jambini brand. That’s the only ones I’ve found that stick well, I haven’t had one of those fall off yet (it’s been 3 months so far). Read more
