For reference I’m always the most fair colored foundation. I have rosacea so I was looking for something more purplish. I added a swatch of it compared to 2 blushes described as plum. The eco Bella is the one in the middle. It is not quite as pink as it comes across in the pics. As the foundation, this doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I started using this blush years ago. I use it everyday - sometimes 2x and it probably lasts for like 2 or 3 yrs. This specific color looks very natural on a fair/ivory completion. I like the matte finish - much more natural than a shiny or glittery blush. Plus, it does not clog my pores. I have dry skin and it does not dry it out further or irritate my sensitive skin. This is a lovely nude color on. I was hoping it wouldn't be "orange" looking when I took a chance and ordered it. It's not. I am really happy with the color. It has enough pink blended in with the browns that it simply looks natural. I'm a redhead with blue eyes, and a combination of yellow undertones and blues in my skin. So looking for the right color has been challenging. Yes, it comes in a little "slide-out" cardboard box, but it's no big deal to slide it open and swipe my brush over. The pigments are strong- I literally only have to load my brush every 3 to 4 makeup sessions. That part I like a lot. My cheeks are clear- I am so happy that it doesn't clog my skin, or create blackheads or acne, like some blushes do. The ingredients definitely agree with my skin. I normally like Ecco Bella products and I know from their eyeshadow that it comes in a metal container that you then put into their magnetic paper compact that they sell. I was expecting a similar set up with their blush and bought the compact, however when the blush itself arrived it had broken apart and spilled out of the box onto the other items shipped with it. I am only able to order Ecco Bella products online, and I assume many others do as well which was why I was surprised that it would completely break apart and fall out of the box completely. I am going to attempt to use this blush but have no idea how to store it now because even if i were to put the metal container in the compact the blush would not stay in it. I ordered the color Orchid Rose. I don't know if others have experienced this problem with getting a bad batch, but I am very unhappy and would not recommend others order the blush online if it has to be shipped. I've been looking for a makeup company that I can stand behind for a while now and I think Ecco Bella was a good choice for me. I did a good bit of research what makeup lines were organic and I felt that Ecco Bella offered the best ingredients at the best pricepoint with organic certifications.I have been very happy with the pleased with the quality of these blushes, they have a very strong color actually. Not much is needed and they blend well. I used the descriptions on the Ecco Bella website to help me choose which colors to buy, I have ruddy cheeks and the website recommend the Earthy Rose to correct and I also chose the peach rose as another option. I thew out my old broken Chanel blush that I had been using for years right away because I fell in love with these blushes!I was very pleased to see how the flower color is just as rich as color you can buy in stores that is filled with chemicals other fillers. I really love the Ecco Bella product line and the fact that they don't have harmful ingrediants in their products. When I first got this blush I thought "wow this is small." The circle of blush is small but it lasts long. I have had it since Dec and it still looks like I have barely used it. This blush goes on dark.,..as in you don't need much on your brush. I have medium, olive skin and I think the color looks nice on me. What I don't like is that you have to buy the compact separate. It should really come with the blush. I did not like that at all.
