I chose this more expensive brand of butterfly clips because I liked the colors, shape detail, and that it had a container.All in all, I would probably get cheaper ones next time. These are painted the different colors and I expect them to start chipping any time. I thought it would be the actual plastic that was colored, the way I remember them as a kid. Overall they seem to serve their purpose, but I’m sure we will loose them quickly as we do with all other hair accessories, so overall I wish I would have gone with a less expensive brand. Read more

UPDATE: I also got the smell everyone mentioned in other reviews, they do smell like spray paint upon opening the container, and if held near to your nose. I also got uneven amounts of colors — which isn’t too bad but i also wish i had matching blue’s and more reds :(i’ve been wanting to find these cute clippies for my daughter because my mom would style my hair with these too, when i was younger! although, not the exact look i was looking for, they’re still super cute. they’re a bit bigger than i anticipated but it’s all good. colors are very vibrant, and clips are sturdy :) Read more

I love these clips so much I ordered them twice! The first time they came, the little plastic container they came in was really dented so I transferred them into a new container to keep them in. The second time the plastic container was intact. I bought them the second time for my niece for her birthday because I know she’ll love them too! They are surprisingly sturdy, I have really thick hair and my hair tends to fall out of most clips. Although you get money for a good price and I love that the colors are different for some reason I don’t know if it’s the way the butterfly clip is shaped but it barely hold any hair at all I understand that they’re small but I’m from the 90s and I’ve used butterfly clips For years and the ones I’ve always used at least give a pretty good grip and held up some hair these do not do that I don’t know why I think that the teeth and comb part of the actual clip is way too small they are beautiful but they do not hold up any hair I’ll be looking for some different ones it’s a shame because I was really happy with the different colors that they had to offer rather than other brands Read more

These are a good size and hold well in hair. The colours are vibrant and sheer as described. The only shame is despite sending a variety of colours, they do not send them evenly; I received only one piece of turqiose. So yes there were 50 in the pack, of the 50 I received 6 of the 14 colours they apparently have. between the 6 there was enough pink, blue, red, yellow, orange and green, to create a look with all the same colour. we have loads of yellow and green, no purples so cant do a rainbow. Theyre small but decided theyre too dainty for my toddlers hair she just keeps getting her hair caught in the wings and they become difficult to remove. have kept to oneside for when she is older of to use with dollys.
