I really wasn't sure about this. My daughter slept in pull ups through age 5 and they were wet every morning. The doctor always said that kids grow out of night time wetting at different times and there's nothing to worry about. I had no problem with pull ups. I would have let her sleep in them for as long as she needed. The issue wasn't how I felt about them at all. It was how my daughter felt about them. She decided one day that she was done wearing pull ups. We thought, “Ok, this is it! She's ready.” Nope. She wasn't ready. Well, her mind was but her body wasn't. She just didn't wake up when she needed to go. This wasn't her fault, her body just wasn't ready. The reason that I searched for this product was that without a pull up, I was constantly washing bedding and stuffed animals. CONSTANTLY. I needed something to help her wake up when she needed to go. This alarm did that and so much more. The first week was tough. The alarm is loud (like an alarm clock) and it scared her when it would abruptly go off in the middle of the night. We would all get up, she would finish going in the potty in the bathroom, we’d clean her up and change her pajamas and her bedding. Then everyone goes back to sleep. We realized that the alarm always seemed to go off between the same few hours every night… anywhere from 3-5am. She just couldn’t quite make it to morning. This was helpful to know. We always made sure that she went to the potty before bed but now, we started waking her up to go potty one more time before we went to bed. Then we started seeing a change. The alarm was going off a lot less but also, when it did go off, she would wake up right away and run to the bathroom BEFORE flooding the bed. There might be a tiny wet spot in her underwear, but her pajamas and her bedding were dry. This was a HUGE step! Within a few more weeks, we realized that she was getting herself up early in the morning to go to the potty and the alarm hadn’t gone off in a while. So, we stopped waking her up for a second potty break before we went to bed. Before we knew it, the alarm hadn’t gone off for weeks. So, without any big scene, we just stopped using it. We didn’t make a big deal of it, just kind of “forgot” to put it on her before bed. And here we are, a few months later, and she is sleeping through the night without accidents! This alarm really worked for us. It only took a few weeks to see results within only a few months my daughter completely stopped wetting the bed. This alarm is worth every penny. Read more

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to for this. My son is 9 and we ordered this. We were all skeptical but 2 months later and he is totally dry every night and gets up to go to the bathroom by himself. Before this he would wake up every morning soaking wet. We had tried everything, limiting fluids, waking him up to go to the bathroom-- nothing worked. He is so proud that he is now dry every morning.A few notes that we found critical to his success. The first 2 weeks we moved him into our bedroom on a blow up mattress. He really needed us to help him get up and learn what he needed to do at the beginning. Many times he was hardly awake so we guided him. Have extra underware and pj near by the first couple of weeks so he can quickly change and get back into bed. We practiced taking the alarm on and off alot while he was awake and we made him change it himself when the alarm went off (we would guide him as he was often half asleep). Not going to lie, the first couple of weeks were rough and waking up to the alarm was jarring to all but if you hang in there it really works. Read more

I scoured the market of bed wetting alarms looking for one that met my criteria: 1) Able to wake a deep sleeper, 2) Wireless (receiver was NOT attached to child so it couldn't simply just be turned off without having to get out of bed and didn't have wires to get caught up during sleep) and 3) affordable (didn't cost an arm and a leg). I was a little skeptical when I found this one as it had no reviews, but it met my criteria so I gave it a shot. I bought it and a couple bed pads, introduced it to my son and then it sat on a shelf for months. I wanted my son to be ready so he had some buy-in. He finally said he was ready and we jumped. I imagine that response time and success rate vary, but we saw a change inside a week to only occasional issues after 6 weeks! This was a child that had been using nighttime underwear for years! We still have issues that cause is to pull the device back out, but those are specific to out son. Overall we are very happy with this alarm! In a Nutshell: VIRTUALLY WIRELESS (receiver plugs into wall, child has to get up to turn it off) with only wire being from underwear sensor to transmitter that clips on waistband), CLIP STAYS PUT (tough to clip and unclip to underwear, but doesn't come off easily once it's on), LOUD (need to keep doors open or have monitor if not close to child's room, but very loud. Our deep sleeper still needed to be woken at times), AFFORDABLE (not the cheapest alarm, but it is wireless and certainly better than having to pay over $100). Read more

This system worked!!!! My son was a heavy sleep bed wetter. He had low self esteem due to the every night accidents. We tried prescriptions, other alarm systems, waking him up ourselves- nothing worked. He is 12 and completely hated himself because of the bed wetting. He was terrified to go to sleep overs and when we went on trips he slept on an air mattress so he wouldn’t wet the hotel bed. Anyway- after reading the reviews I decided to purchase this product. My son slept in bed with me for two weeks. The first couple nights were rough, but on the third night he got up and went. It only took two weeks for him to have dry nights. He’s had one or two accidents in the last three months, but that’s it. He usually wears the alarm after the following night just to keep his brain in check. WE are so grateful for this product. It is a life saver. My son is much happier as am I. Don’t give up! I’m glad we didn’t. Read more

What an amazing equipment! My 6.5 year old boy is a deep night sleeper, lazy to get up to an extent. He was in night time pull ups until now, we literally tried all tricks to get him dry. This "alarm" was the last resource! And he finally did it! It took about a month in total, dry night in between after 2 weeks. He was never dry until we started using the alarm. We would use pull ups over his normal pants where the alarm was clipped, just to prevent night time bed changes. He is side sleeper so we clipped it on his back, however, it can be clipped anywhere. He didn't mind it. It's safe to say he did it thanks to this alarm! It has taught him to hold his wee all night (plus he's also better with his day time dribbles) because he doesn't like getting up. Amazing! This is definitely a must buy for all desperate parents like me! Read more

So bought this last year and used it once and chickened out. My son is 5 and a really heavy sleeper and was just sleeping through the alarm as well. But I did as it says and percevered and woke him every time the alarm went off. And his brain must've worked out that when he urinates and the alarm goes off and he's woken. And 3 weeks in, he's cracked it. Started off 2 or 3 times a night, then eventually once a night. Then occasionally. And now we are on a dry streak, still wearing it just in case for a bit longer. He's so happy and I'm so pleased. 4 year old son is gonna use it when we have finished! So if you're on the fence go for it. You'll have maybe a week or so of doubting yourself and hating your life waking up and then you'll start to realise its worth it.EDIT used this on my second son at 4 years old and he cracked it in a week. He was so pleased with himself. Best money I've spent! Read more

We have only been using the alarm for just under 2 weeks and have already seen progress. Before having this alarm, my 5.5 yr old would wet the bed 2-3 times a night and wouldn't wake up for hours after. With the first week of the alarm he continued to wet as frequently, but the alarm would wake him. I stayed in with him for the first few nights to help him. He started waking with the alarm (although he was very grumpy about being woken!) and coming to me for help to get changed and a clean bed.At the beginning of the second week he would wet one or twice still, but we were seeing progress in that he would wake for one wee and get to the toilet on time.Last night we had our first fully dry night when he woke up 3 times for a wee. We still have a way to go and I'm sure there will be many wet nights to come, but the fact he has had his first EVER dry night after just 2 weeks is amazing! You need to be committed and consistent, and it is tiring, but it DOES work!We liked that you could choose different tones and different volumes and that the alarm is wireless and not attached to the child. The sensor can be a little tricky to attach to the pants in the night, but I think they are all similar in that regard.Over all we are very impressed with this alarm. Read more

Bought this in Oct 2021 for my 4.5 yr old boy. He had been potty trained in the day since he was 3 but just couldn’t manage overnights. When first tried it, the alarm would go off 2-3 times a night! Won’t lie, it was hard to have the broken sleep again. The alarm sounds after the first drop and the aim is to train you to wake when you have a full bladder. Sometimes it was too late and he would still fully empty his bladder but we would still go to the toilet, sit on it and change underwear etc to get him into habit. The key is to take the alarm off ASAP as once there is another drop on the sensor this sounds alarm again and means you’re running back to turn it off without trying to wake anyone.Gradually after 2 weeks the alarm was going off every other night and as I type this (8 weeks since we started using it) it has been 11 days without the alarm sounding.Another tip is to wear underwear first and clip sensor to this (he covers his privates with his hand as I put the sensor on as the clip could be sore if it catches on skin) and then wear pull ups over. This helps to avoid all the changing of bedding. There is never a right time to do this, but with a lot of explaining at the start, consistency and dedication I ‘think’ we have almost cracked it. Good luck! Read more

Really great product. The alarm wakes my son up as well at the parents - two rooms away (we have it on the loudest setting). Maybe once had a issue with alarm not going off - but think that was more down to sensor position on pants.Like that the cord is not long (no risk of getting it around the neck) and son doesn’t mind it hanging next to his leg at night.I never thought my son would be having so many consistent dry nights. You can see by our chart at first dry nights were few and far between, but wearing the alarm every night the dry nights have increased and he is even starting to get up sometimes on his own for a wee!My son - who is 7 1/2 was getting really self conscious about still being in nappies, but he is so proud of himself now - he announces every morning if he had a dry night and puts a sticker in his book.
