If you have a dry sore nose and suffer from allergies, this by far is the best product I’ve ever used. Less than 24 hours later my sore nose is finally healing. This product works on so many different levels. Heals sore, clears sinuses (has a mild camphor scent ) which opens my airways. Also has taken care of a phantom smell I get, which is really irritating but a little Boroleum and it’s resolved. Lightly squeeze a dab on a Q-tip and apply to affected areas. Ignore the negative reviews. Sounds like people have unrealistic expectations because they can’t read a label. Read the label folks!! Don’t blame the company. This ointment is the s***. All previous reviews are true. This product works! If you have dry nostrils due to allergies, etc. and especially if you live in a dry climate, this really works. I only use at night before bed. I use a Q-Tip and put a small bead on the tip and rub in each nostril. It is very comforting and I don't wake up with my nostrils burning with dry scabs of blood. It moisturizes and helps heal what you have been suffering with. It really works! Read more

When the heat goes on, I have a problem with blisters in my nose. Very painful and other products would not help as much as I wanted. Boroleum helped heal the blisters 100%. I live in one of the driest climates. Did you know that there is such a thing as a negative dew point? Yup!!! My nose has been dry, bleeding and sore since December. Nothing helped! Until I bought this. My nose still dries out a little. My nose still bleeds a lot less. BUT, the difference is that this product keeps the blood from drying so hard, that it's so sore that I can't touch my nostrils without pain. THAT'S A RELIEF! Because with this product, the blood basically breaks away from inside the nostrils and that's a relief. I've been using this product for years, and glad to see that Amazon now carries it. It's a handy light eucalyptus-based salve for application to the inside of the noise. It keeps the areas moist and prevents dryness, especially during the night. It also keeps the dried accumulations of mucus (a.k.a. "buggers") down to minimum. (Sorry, but it does!) This is impossible to fine in any store by me. I love Boroleum. I got sinus headaches almost every single day. In the winter especially just breathing in dry air give me severe headaches. When I feel my nose drying out I use a q-tip to rub Boroleum inside both nostrils and it helps with the headaches and the dry nose feeling. Read more

I have been using this product for more than two years now. I apply it inside my nose to keep those tissues moist. I have used vaseline, camphor, other products. This is terrific.
