I like Dr. Organic Rose Cream. I bought both the day & night facial creams. The day cream is lighter and keeps me moisturized all day in the cold and windy Chicago winter weather. The night cream is bit thicker, as a night cream usually is and I adore the natural rose scent. There is no manufactured or “best before” date on the packaging. Probably I received very old product. It smells stale, like oil stored for few years, beyond its life. It smells nothing like Rose, for that matter it’s not any pleasant smell. Very disappointed.Didn’t use the product at all due to the odor. So can’t speak about other characteristics as a moisturizer. It is not the same like the old dr organic rose otto cream this is much heavier and contains xanthan gum made my skin breakout. Please can you go back the old ingredients this sucks !!!! Read more

The night cream version of this was a disaster for my skin, but I still gave this day cream a try hoping that being a lighter version it wouldn't cause the same problems of acne and irritation. Well, it did end up causing me to break out, but at least not with cystic acne. This lotion is a lot lighter than the night version, so it caused little whiteheads to pop up all along the area on the underside of my jaw where I did a test spot. I don't know what is in these products that cause such an immediate and visible reaction in my skin, but I'm pretty sure it is one of the oils used in the formulation as there are a few of them that aren't in any of my other skin products so are new to me. Like the nighttime version, I was hoping to have better luck with this as a foot cream (the scent is super strong and I didn't want it to be on my hands, especially when eating). But like the nighttime version, this day version also caused my feet to become red and itchy, though not as bad as the night cream did. I'd read some pretty good things about Dr. Organics products, and am disappointed that the two I was most looking forward to didn't work out at all for me. Read more
