These wig caps were a life saver! I purchased 17 of these items in both black (for ladies with black hair) and nude (for all other hair colors). This was for a competitive ballet number where each dancer had a wig. When we first tried just the wigs, no one could get their long hair up underneath and the wigs wouldn't stay on. I did a lot of searching and came up with these caps. I liked them because it looked like they would breath and also that we could put big hair pins through the mesh. It is essential that our wigs don't come off in the middle of the dance - I had the girls french braid their hair, put the wig cap on, then the wig, and finally long hairpins through it all. These caps worked great and made it so much easier for my dancers to get their wigs on quickly, feel secure, and look great! Read more
Literally Amazon to the rescue in my education. I bought a wig on Etsy, and realized I really needed a brush. So I went shopping for a brush and came across these and realized I’d been doing wigs wrong. No probs, look at all my choices (ok, just some, this IS Amazon), read some reviews, come back to these. Tried it on this week with the wig, holy moly what an amazing experience. These helped keep the wig on my head, and it was super comfortable too. These caps are sturdy and strong. Super happy! Ok by far my favorite type of wig cap. I’ve tried every kind and was just wanting one that fit my head tight with out having to use pins because I’ve got a smaller than average head. These were the answer but the only con I’ve noticed is that after the first use it gets stretched out and isnt as tight anymore. I wish they were cheaper and sold a big quantity for cheap like they do the regular wig caps. Read more
I wish I had known to buy the Dreamlover Wig Grip Headbands to go with these. I’ve started wearing wigs as I allow my own hair to go gray (so I don’t have to deal with the pesky demarcation line). These wig caps are awesome for compressing your own hair and keeping it down under your wig, however no matter how I tried pinning it down with Bobby pins, the wig cap would eventually spring off my head like a rubber band…I don’t know if it’s do to my own hair’s texture or the fact that my head circumference is 22”. I decided to get the wig grip headbands (also from Dreamlover) to go along the edge of the wig cap, and it’s the only thing that keeps this wig cap on. I gave this 4 stars, because it is good quality, and I love how well it keeps my hair down, but I wish these two products were sold together in a set, because I never would have thought to try it. I only bought the wig grip to help keep my wig in place. I use both of these products under my Haircube wig, and I don’t have to use anything else to keep my wig in place on my head. Read more
I got a wig that I like very much and with my hair so long, I couldn't tuck it up under the wig so I figured I needed one of these contraptions. I am having a difficult time getting my hair in the netting and the extension part. My hair goes twice as long as the long portion. Read more
As I put it over my head the elastic end felt loose and the other end felt like a vice, WAY TO TIGHT. About ½ after I had my wig on I felt it slipping under my wig. Very disappointed I don't reccomend this product!!!!!!!!! Read more
Great idea for long hairButI have a large head and am unable to twist and bring it down again without the cap slipping offI am not returning it because it is still good for capturing your long hair I have just have to improvise by twisting and then pinning it instead of bring it down after twistingPlease make this product for those of us that have larger heads.
