While I had a challenge assembling the stands I think it may have been a combination of my limited skills and poor instructions. That being said, I have had very good use with the stands, they are relatively stable for placing and removing the wigs, I do not believe they are intended for use for styling the wig, that should be done on your head or with the wig pinned to one of the solid forms. These are intended for drying the wigs and for letting them air out after being worm, and to give them a place to rest in a reasonable position between outings. The extra length in the legs is a bonus for every wig that comes below one's jaw line as it prevents the hair from draping on the surface and kinking in the wrong position. As you can tell I take my wigs seriously, and my reviews seriously as well, I read a lot of reviews as they help me form opinions about products so I try my best to give useful information rather than a mindless personal rant. So 5 stars for the wig stands, a very good value, and after my initial learning experience with the first wig they were easy to construct. I will buy more as my collection grows. Read more

Photos provided.Just as the title says, if you're only looking to display some wigs, this might be a good choice... But even then, those wigs also better be short / light weight and not long / heavy. The only plus side is getting two for the price and how compact they can be (as in they don't take up a lot of space), in my opinion. I purchased the 19.7 inch tall in black. Even with instructions and an additional email about how to properly piece the holder together (because apparently people weren't setting it up correctly, thus making it unstable, which is what caused poor reviews), it doesn't hold up to what it should do good enough. On the listing it states "Not Only Be A Holder for Wigs" and that it can help to dry wigs quicker when wet due to air flow and display long wigs dust free. Doesn't quite live up to that statement when the holder and long wig topple off at almost every daily vibration on a sturdy shelf. While it does suggest a "warm tip" of " Please DO NOT style your wig on the stand as the stand would lose balance and fall over easily," I cannot even brush my wig gently without it faltering or toppling completely.Overall, I give this product 2 stars based on the value for the amount, the fact that it is easy to take apart and set up, and it takes up minimum room, but this product has only frustrated me a lot while using it and I won't be purchasing anything similar again. You can’t go wrong with these wig stands! I’ve bought a wig stand very similar to these from another vendor and was disappointed. I came running back to Dreamlover because theirs are MUCH better constructed and don’t fall apart like their competitors do. (I have to super glue the competitors’ stand to keep it together -which defeats the purpose of being able to travel with it - while Dreamlover’s version is easily assembled and disassembled while maintaining it’s sturdy structure.). The stand is a bit flimsey and wobbly. The pieces fit so tightly together you have to wiggle them into place. Keep wiggling them because they finally will fit together all the way. The little circular top piece holds them both steady and makes a great place to hang your velvet headband. Over all I like it and it's light. It is less likely to fall over than the styrofoam heads because the base is wider. Read more

Love these wig stands.They are sturdy once assembled. I pushed to hard on the first one when assembling and broke the top piece that keeps unit together.But, I repaired with some black duct tape and it's unnoticeable and works fine.These stands are great for drying wihs after washing because the hollow inside allows for good air flow.Also they keep my wigs in shape when not wearing as opposed to just laying flat.Can't do any real styling when on these stands as they can fall over easy if you are manipulating your wig.But, great for drying and storage.Also travel very easily as well. Bought this product to hold a cosplay wig. This plastic wig stand is simple and gets the job done. Slightly difficult to put together, but not terrible (there are only 3 pieces but the design makes it a tight fit). The one note I have is to pay attention to the feet of the stand, as this wig stand will only stand on smooth surfaces. I intended to set this on a shelf made of small metal bars, and in order for the legs to not go through this shelf, I need to set it in a frisbee. However this is my bad for not realizing, and not even really a problem. But for a smooth surface such as a desk, table, or top of a dresser, this is perfect. Easy to put together and great to just hang wigs on . You cannot however or at least i cant style your wig on this stand because it falls over easier than a premier league footballer , seriously i think i may have looked at it wrong and it toppled over . I bought these as I have two wigs that are shoulder length and they are exactly what I needed. If you have wigs that are longer than two inches past your shoulder then the hair will trail over these wig stand legs. My wigs are shoulder length (hair sits on my collar bone) and when I sit them on these stands it keeps the hair 'off the ground' (like, from not touching surfaces you the place the stand on). What I also like about these is that they are ventilated and the spacing of the legs because when I wash my wigs I like to put them in the airing cupboard to dry and the legs of these stands actually sit perfectly between the slats of the airing cupboard shelves. The fact that they are hollow means air can pass through drying hair and so my wigs are dry and fresh overnight and ready to wear in the morning. Read more

The two 19.7 inch wig stands arrived promptly and well-packaged. Because of issues that had arisen with assembly in some cases, the seller helpfully sent an email with additional instructions. I had no such issues and once assembled both stands were secure and not wobbly.The wigs seem to stay on okay once positioned, although this takes a little patience and care.My main criticism of the stands is that they are a little lightweight. Making them out of a heavier gauge plastic or some other more robust material would be an option, but this would doubtless result in a commensurate increase in price. Another option might be to include a set of press-on rubber feet.All in all, though, these do what they say on the tin; I am happy with my purchase and the seller is extremely helpful.Update 29/09/2019The seller emailed me recently to say that the stands had been upgraded to a thicker plastic and so I bought a pair. I can confirm that the improvement has been worthwhile and they definitely feel more rigid and stable. Well done! Read more

Good for holding my wigs although not fantastically sturdy but to be expected. If you knock them they may fall with the weight of the wigs. If you have them stored out of the way then they are ok. Assembly pretty easy - just take your time as you may accidentally snap them when putting together. I’d rather get a normal wig head for my wigs due to sturdiness and ability to style whilst on the head. Comes in a 2 pack / reasonably priced and great if travelling. Read more
