I looked all over for a gate that would fit my narrow doorway and also be strong enough to keep in my boxer and pitbull. The gate was easy to install and looks great! I love that the gate swings both in and out. It's tall enough the dogs don't try to jump over and if they finally decide to try it, I'll just place a cheap tension gate up as needed. The only thing I didn't like about this was I had to buy two gates to get the size I needed and couldn't find a single gate anywhere. Oh well, looks like I have a back-up if and when I ever need it. I am using these gates with two extensions (21" and 10.5" to fit a 64" opening, and 14" and 17.5" to fix a 61" opening) - they work great! (I think the hallway gate would have been a better option for the size of the opening, but I didn't read the description closely and just focused on the "2 gate value pack" portion. :) Anyways...) A helpful hint when ordering and trying to determine what gate & extensions to use...the DreamBaby website has a gate calculator.I love the extra tall height. My 9 month old son will stand at the gate shaking it and it does not budge! The door is easy to open one handed and I it automatically closes behind me. I used the double sided tape to mount the cups to the walls and it works great (I didn't want to have to drill holes into my baseboards). We have 3 of these DreamBaby gates in our home and I feel that my son is safe and he can explore without being hurt. I would definitely recommend these gates. Read more

This gate is tall and easy to open. We have 2 large dogs, a toddler, and a newborn. Gates are a necessity in our house. The short "pressure" gates were killing our legs walking over them all the time. We were also having trouble finding a gate that was tall enough for our labradoodle to quit jumping over. This gate is perfect for our needs. Tall and easy for adults to open. The dog can't jump over and the toddler can't open it. Read more
These were exactly what I needed. Only one of my door ways needed the extensions and I used both extensions and made it fit perfect. One of my dogs is a big jumper and has yet to figure out how to get over it (and can't fit through it). My mom liked them so much, she had me order one for her! Only drawback is that people (visiting) might need to be shown/told how to open correctly (I don't know how durable the pins will be in the long term if various guests open incorrectly). Read more

Shipped fine. We got the gates to keep the cats out. for the most part it has work, however, just one of our 8 cats has learned to jump over. It is a little difficult to lift to open. For manufacturing, I would say it needs a spring in it or something. I did by the trip guard also, and would recommend that to anyone using this. It was easy to install.
