Originally purchased when we lived in a one bedroom apartment and didn't have much space. We've had this for seven or eight months now, and while we haven't had it setup all the way (we use it sidecar style and cosleep), it's served it's purpose well.The only reason I gave 4 stars is because one of the slats was partially broken right out of the box. It's enough to cause splinters if messed with, but not bad enough to where it doesn't hold together. Just a good size crack type of thing. I didn't want to go through the return process at the time and figured I would just put some clear packing tape over it if necessary. Babe is 14 months now and has yet to notice it, thankfully.Overall, I would recommend! I don't remember what mattress we got, but I know it was from BuyBuyBaby. I purchased 2 of these mini cribs when I discovered I was having twins. Our nursery isn't large and two full sized cribs would have taken over the room. We are 22 months into using them and they've held up well. Today, I transitioned them into day bed toddler beds as one of my children has discovered he can climb out. The transition was simple. I love that it's perfect for small places. It's very very well made very stardy and it's beautiful. I purchased this for my grandson, my son is recently divorced and my youngest grandbaby wasn't sleeping very well in the pack n p!at while at his daddies new house where space is limited. My grandsons bedroom at dads new house is smaller. This is a perfect solution. Just one tip please buy a mattress, the one included is very thin. I bought the dream on me 3 inch thick mattress made expressly for this line of mini cribs and it fit perfectly. This is such a great, sturdy crib. I made a small mistake and tried to wipe it down with clorox wipe to clear off any debris. Luckily I stopped quickly when I realized some of the paint was coming off, but that was on me. Wiping it down with a soft cloth is enough. The Dream on Me 3" mattress fits perfectly with a waterproof mattress protector and fitted sheet. No gaps. Read more

Very easy to put together. I’m 8 months pregnant and put it together alone in about 1.5 hours. Instructions were missing but I called Dream on me support and they emailed it to me immediately so 5 stars also for customer service. All of the pieces were there and instructions were clear. Much better than spending more for a bassinet that will last only a few months. Great for small spaces and very sturdy! You’ll definitely want to order the 3inch Dream on me portable mattress for $25 or so - the one that comes with the mini crib is useless. Read more

This mini crib fit perfectly in the same space as our son's basinet. And it matches our toddler's full size version. I'm not yet sure if he'll be able to use it when he's a toddler but I love that we will be able to convert it to a big boy bed. My husband assembled the crib on his own and it only took about 45 minutes to an hour. We ordered a 3" Dream On Me mattress to give it extra comfort. Baby boy seems to find it super comfy, too. If I had to make one comment for improvement, and I'm really reaching here, it would be that there be a larger clearance underneath to slide a small storage bin below. Read more

The mini crib is the perfect size for the space we have. It is a beautiful crib with easy assembly. The hardware used is significant size and quality which gives the crib a very sturdy feel. The only thing I would suggest is the so called "mattress " is terrible. Know that you will need to order a mini crib mattress. EDIT: The pad that comes with it is pretty thin and we chose to get a thicker mattress (also from Dream On Me), which the crib contains a warning against.Nice size and price. Make sure to leave the screws loose until end of assembly and them tighten all. I had a little trouble getting the bottom bolts in on the front piece, and think maybe the holes were off a little, but I managed to get it together and it seems sturdy and well made. Read more

It should last most babies a year or more depending on how fast they grow. Ths quality of the wood is excellent but like most people say, buy the thicker mattress as the one it comes with is near useless. Read more
