I spontaneously ordered this piece because I was due for wash, retwist and style. I wanted something different because I am still in the beginning stages of my locs. They are still going through the budding process and are not quite heavy enough to leave hanging, therefore I always get them styled. Anyone who has locs know in the beginning stages or the “ugly/awkward” phases you don’t have many choices on styles but this single piece changed the game for me. This drawstring piece gave me so much versatility. I was a little nervous taking it right out of the package because it seemed stiff and looked synthetic. I did soak it in ACV (apple cider vinegar) for about 30 min and then washed it with shampoo. I intended to air dry it but didn’t have time so I blow dried it on low heat. Again, I was super nervous because instructions clearly said don’t blow dry but it came out unharmed. I must say this piece blended seamlessly with my real hair despite it being synthetic. The hair is soft and the petals are nice and neatly made. I absolutely loved the end results! This will definitely be a piece I keep on hand and recommend to anyone interested.My only complaint is that I wish they came in different sizes.
