When I first applied this product to my under eye area I used the enclosed applicator and not knowing how truly dark orange it was I went a tad crazy applying it.. YIKES it's orange (duh me)! 2nd attempt I used a concealer brush and a light application - OH and a bit of water as it's super thick - and only applied to one eye at a time as it dries quickly. That's the trick for me. Next I follow-up with a skin tone concealer and the lavender color of this same product. Whala, no more dark circles. Again a little goes a long way and it is easy to work with. I was a little scared because when I put it on it was very orange. Never use anything like this before but I hate my dark circles so I did and I am happy with my results! This is what I did: I use my finger to spread it out all around the eyes. It was a little thick and sticky so used a damp sponge to make less sticky and smooth. Than I use my THRIVE CC cream, my NARS concealer and finally my NJC powder. And my dark circles are gone!! I have olive skin tone where my skin has a green tint to it, all foundations look too yellow, orange or pink, literally no foundation matches me out of the bottle, except one but only in my summer shade. I bought the green corrector to add to my foundations to neutralize those strong warm tones and it has been life changing, now I can wear all the foundations that never worked for me just by mixing in the green corrector. What I like about this corrector is that it is not white based so it doesn't lighten the foundation like the minty greens would, so this one just neutralizes the warm tones. For the foundations that have strong yellow tones which were advertized as olive, I got the violet one but unfortunately the violet one is white based and it does lighten the foundation. Overall I am especially happy with the green corrector for the purpose described above. If anyone has the same issue with foundations like I do, this is a very good product to add to foundations. it covered my dark spots! the process I do is first primer then green concealer as I have red pimples so I cover them. Then I use the orange concealer to cover my dark spots, dark eye circles, and my mustache line on my upper lip. Then I use my normal concealer over the color concealers I used then setting powder and finally use my Fenty liquid foundation. IT WORKS LIKE WONDERS MAKING MY FACE LOOK FLAWLESS! I really recommend it! I got lighter so I might have to change my concealer to lavender or pink color concealer instead of the orange one I bought but it really works! IF you are not around the area of being tan or caramel color and your lighter white, yellow or pale color you should use lavender or pink color concealer or the orange will show over your foundation. Bought this product after searching for the perfect coverage for blue correcting. Figured why not give it a shot. I have been pleasantly surprised by how little you need to achieve a full coverage of the affected area. It lasts all day and still comes off with ease using my dollar store makeup wipes.
