I’m not happy with this particular pen. I am a licensed esthetician and use it multiple times a day. I am unable to take the pen to certain depths without it shutting off on me. Then won’t start back up. I usually end up having to open another needle and using another pen I have but it’s embarrassing that this happens with clients and a waste of my needles. I have never been able to go higher than a 1.2 without an issue. The pens highest depth is a 3.0. I wish I could return it. This pen is for someone who wishes to perform. The Dr. Pen Ultima N2 functions and works as it is described and is a great price. The Pros: easy to adjust needle depth, easy operation and use, and sanitary single wrapped needles. The price is great and the packing to store the N2 is great as well. I did purchase and use the N2 with a good numbing cream and would recommend using with a numbing cream. The Only Con: I did not consider my pain tolerance prior to purchasing and did return the N2. Were I not as sensitive to pain as I am, I would have kept the N2 and continued using it. This is specific to me and my tolerance to pain which should not be taken as a bad review of the product. The N2 worked well, I was not able to tolerate the needling. Read more
