Unfortunately I had wish I read the reviews first because the 36pin is not the correct needle for my M5. I thought I was having an issue with my pen because the needles weren’t even reaching my skin until it was turned up to .75 (which was just about a .25 length) I believe when you are a company trying to sell needles on amazon, you should at least let the consumer know how to use them and if they are different than the actual Dr.Pen needles. I will still use these needles more than likely because I hate wasting money and I have also figured out a way to use them..Unfortunately I wasted about 3 needles just trying to figure out what the issue was and that is just unacceptable and should be disclosed in the description that when your pen is set at .75 it is really a .25 when it is set at a 1.0 it is a .50, and when it is set at a 1.25 it is a .75 and so on.... that is also probably the reason why they do not accept returns because I am sure I am not the only one to have wasted a few needles or so trying to figure this out...... if anyone else can leave a review to let me know if the 12 pin needles are the correct length for the M5 that would be great.I’m not sure of the exact legalities of trademarked products but as a cosmetologist of 10 years and an aesthetician in training, here in America I know that beauty products are not regulated, apparently this includes the needles we are stabbing our selves in the face with . I noticed the Dr. Pen wireless was nearly identical to the LAGGRA micro pen I had purchased on Groupon and was hoping it would fit. The ones that came with my Groupon pen only had about half as many pins so this was as a bigger upgrade. It fit just as well as the other ones though at higher speeds, the cartridge would pop off but that seems to be the pen’s fault and not the cartridge.They are sturdy and the higher number of pins means that I feel more of a dull scratching sensation than a sharp prick.I have also waited nearly 5 months before posting this review. Since the skin renews itself every 30 days, I have only used the micro pen once a month. As a result, I have found my rolling and boxcar acne scars have faded dramatically. I do not go more than 1.5 mm in depth since I am only doing this at home and I only do it once a month so the scarring still exists but when I shine a light at an angle, I can see a noticeable difference. I didn’t feel like the needles are very sharp or can’t retract enough unlike the other one that I tried that comes free with the dermapen! There is no cover as well . These say that they fit a Dr. Pen ultima-M7, but they do not!! I placed on my pen and it just hummed bc the needle couldn't move properly. I thought my pen was messed up and so I kept trying. I Removed cartridge and replaced with one of the orgional ones that I still had and it worked fine. I opened 3 cartridges and tried and none worked. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! So disappointed!! Love the pen and the cartridges. Make sure you read the descriptions. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is that there are only 3 needle cartridges in the box and the remainder are the flat cartridges that are supposed to help dispense product into the skin -- essentially, I paid for 7 other cartridges I will not use. I'm just adding this to agree with other negative reviews here. When I attached these to my N2, I had to go to very deep settings for the needles to even touch my skin, let alone actually needle it. I can certainly say that these do *not* work with the N2 (as falsely advertised). So, if you own an N2, do not buy these. Read more
