After purchasing the peach one at ULTA, and coming here to purchase the red one after it being sold out.. the reviews concern me. It’s not 100% easy to use in this applicator but you’re not supposed to apply it to your lips straight out of the tube.. they have a smaller version with a lip application for that. This is more for full-size I’m okay with getting my fingers a little dirty n can clean up applicator. If you use it as blush you do the same thing: I typically massage onto the back of my hand and dot the product on with a single finger to get buildable color and precise application. If you use as blush, set with a powder or setting spray and remember you can reapply almost seamlessly. Read more
I have the Ultimate Red and Peach-Pink and I've used them both for years as lip and cheek makeup, and as overnight lip balm. I LOVE the colors, which are completely perfect for me. On top of that, these are the easiest, most-natural-looking and naturally formulated cosmetics products around. The pricing is amazing, and these are truly "multi-purpose". The product description mentions using this on the lips. However, the applicator is not made for that at all. When applied, it looks like I've gotten a bloody lip and then applied vaseline. That's not what I was hoping for.I much prefer the untinted version. Even if you do need to apply with your fingers, the untinted version doesn't make you look like you've injured yourself. Read more
