Simply does not absorb well. I have tried many types over the years and this is the worst. I also keep aloe plants and cuts leaves off from time to time but never have enough! Real aloe soaks into the skin in less than a minute and you feel the difference immediately soothing. Try this test: put it on your hands as you would handcream, let it dry, say ten minutes later wet your hands all over and yes its still there! However it would work great as a Barrier Cream! This is 2nd one bought. Find this product excellent for dry itchy skin. First bought Aloe Vera in Fuerteventura for joint and muscle pain which I found very good. Bought this product originally for my husband who had a severe skin condition. Had hospital treatment with various steroid preparations which helped but he still suffered with dry itchy skin. Have found this product brilliant for cracked sore hands also. Cannot praise Aloe Vera enough and it's a natural treatment. Read more

Wow. Can’t really tell much about long term results or sun burn relief (which I bought this for just in case), but I have to say I love the way my skin looks and feels right now. It spreads really easy as it is a gel. It stays a little sticky for a bit until it absorbs fully but once it absorbs ... wow... i can’t believe how soft and young my skin feels. Absolutely amazing!!! My new favourite moisturiser/after sun/face cream (yes, I use it on my face too!) Not sure if you’re supposed to use it on a face, but I tried and I love it. It moisturises it without any heavy cream feel that I hate. It feels like my face skin is firmer and softer.Plus the smell is quite pleasant too. I have used Aloe Vera for years with no issue. Used this today for the first time and my skin went red and was burning. Only 70% aloe and after reading reviews it also contains chemicals and alcohol. I use Aloe Vera each night and this is the first time using thus particular brand due to manufacturing delay of another.It soaks in very well and quickly. It does make my skin feel soft and using it on my pregnant bump it is working a treat however.....This particular brand does sting, itch and make my skin red initially after applying for about 30 minutes. I'm not sure if they use a parti ulsr ingredient. I'm not sure whether I will be buying again or looking for another substitute whilst I wait for my regular.Good in so many ways so it is a shame.
